The ST1L05 is a low drop linear voltage regulator, which supplies up to 1.3 A output current. The output voltage is fixed at 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V and it is adjustable. It is available in three different versions with different pinouts. Thanks to BiCMOS technology, the quiescent current is controlled and maintained below 650 μA over the entire allowed junction temperature range. The ST1L05 is stable with low ESR output ceramic capacitors. Internal protection circuitry includes thermal protection with hysteresis and overcurrent limiting. The ST1L05 is suitable for data storage applications such as HDDs, where it can supply 3.3 V required by read channel and memory chips. The regulator is available in the small and thin DFN6 (3x3 mm) and DFN8 (4x4 mm) packages.

The ST1L08 provides 0.8 A of maximum current from an input voltage in the range from 1 V to 5.5 V, with a typical dropout voltage as low as 70 mV. It is stabilized with a ceramic capacitor on the output. The very low drop voltage, low quiescent current and high PSRR features make it suitable for low power battery-powered applications. Enable logic control function puts the ST1L08 in shutdown mode, reducing the total current consumption. Power Good function and input voltage control feature the ST1L08Sxx version. The device is equipped with current limit and thermal protection.

This converter is specifically designed for applications where high efficiency, PCB size and thickness are the key factors. The output voltage can be set using two digital control inputs, a VOUTfrom 0.625 V to 3.3 V can be dynamically selected. Thanks to the enhanced PCC (peak current control) the ST1PS01 reaches very high efficiency conversion using just a 2.2 µH inductor and two small capacitors. Advanced design circuitry is implemented to minimize the quiescent current. The device is available in Flip-Chip package.

The ST1PS02 is a nano-quiescent miniaturized synchronous step-down converter, which is able to provide up to 400 mA output current with an input voltage ranging from 1.8 V to 5.5 V. This converter is specifically designed for applications where high efficiency, PCB size and thickness are the key factors. The output voltage can be set using three digital control inputs, a VOUT from 1.0 V to 3.3 V can be dynamically selected. Thanks to the enhanced PCC (peak current control) the ST1PS02 reaches very high efficiency conversion using just a 2.2 µH inductor and two small capacitors. The device embeds a controlled load switch to supply a subsystem with same voltage rail. Advanced design circuitry is implemented to minimize the quiescent current. The device is available in thin plastic package.
