MCP19125Digitally Enhanced Power Analog Current and Voltage Controller | DC DC Switching Controllers | 2 | Active | The MCP19125 is a mid-voltage (4.5-42V) analog-based PWM controller with an integrated 8-bit PICTM Microcontroller. This unique product family combines the performance of a high-speed analog solution, including high-efficiency and fast transient response, with the configurability and communication interface of a digital solution. Combining these solution types creates a new family of devices that maximizes the strengths of each technology to create a more cost-effective, configurable, high-performance power conversion solution. These products allow the development of flexible power supplies that can be configured perfectly to the target application with minimal external components. In addition, these devices can be programmed to dynamically respond to measurements or events within the system, dynamically tailoring the operation to the environment, or intelligently responding to faults for robust operation.
This device contains two independent outer control loops, which can be configured with separate feedback networks, and separate references. The analog voltage loop can be set to control a constant voltage, or the analog current loop can be used to set a constant current on the output. Regardless of which outer loop is being used, both outer loops take advantage of a faster, inner current loop for peak current mode control with fast transient response. With this unique architecture, switching between constant-voltage and constant-current operation is smooth and monotonic; it can be done dynamically during operation without glitching or undesirable transient effects. |
MCP19214Dual Channel Digitally Enhanced Power Analog Current Controller | DC DC Switching Controllers | 2 | Active | The MCP19214 is a dual-channel, mid-voltage (4.5-42V) analog-based PWM controller with an integrated 8-bit PICTM Microcontroller. This unique product family combines the performance of a high-speed analog control solution, including high-efficiency and fast transient response, with the configurability and communication interface of a digital solution. Combining this analog control circuit with integrated digital management features creates a new family of devices that maximizes the strengths of each technology to create a more cost-effective, configurable, high-performance power conversion solution. These products allow the development of flexible power supplies that can be configured perfectly to the target application with minimal external components. In addition, these devices can be programmed to dynamically respond to measurements or events within the system, dynamically tailoring the operation to the environment, or intelligently responding to faults for robust operation.
The MCP19214 has independent voltage and current control, and can be configured for constant voltage or constant current operation on each of the two control loops. Alternatively, the two control loops can operate in opposite directions on the same power train, creating a bi-directional power supply. All of the key operating parameters, including the output level, are dynamically reconfigurable during operation, using the internal microcontroller core. The device features a pair of independent low side drive outputs, for controlling boost, SEPIC, Cuk or flyback topologies.
This device is similar to the MCP19215, but the MCP19215 has four extra I/O pins with integrated debug support. |
MCP2003BLIN Transceiver | Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers | 15 | Active | Stand-alone LIN Transceiver -- MCP2003B supports a wide range of packages; 8-pin 2x3 DFN, 3x3 DFN and SOIC
This device provides a bidirectional, half-duplex communication, physical interface to automotive and industrial LIN systems to meet the LIN Bus Specification Revision 2.2, SAE J2602, and ISO 17987. The device is both short-circuit and overtemperature protected by internal circuitry. The device has been specifically designed to operate in the automotive operating environment and will survive all specified transient conditions while meeting all of the stringent quiescent current requirements.

MCP2022LIN System Basis Chip Including Voltage Regulator and nFault/TXE I/O | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 14 | Active | The MCP2022 provides a bidirectional, half-duplex communication physical interface to an automotive and industrial Local Interconnect (LIN) and SAE J2602 bus. Operation covers LIN Bus Specification Versions 1.3, 2.0, 2.1 and SAE J2602. The device incorporates a voltage regulator with 5V/50mA or 3.3V/50mA output. The regulator is short-circuit protected and also includes thermal shutdown. The regulator has been specifically designed to operate in the automotive environment and will survive reverse battery conditions, +43V load dump transients and double-battery jump starts. The device has been designed to meet the stringent quiescent current requirements of the automotive industry. The devices' very low emissions, excellent robustness to automotive transients and very high ESD robustness have been confirmed by independent test authorities. |
