The Renesas RA6M5 group uses the high-performance Arm®Cortex®-M33 core with TrustZone®. In concert with the Secure Crypto Engine it offers Secure Element functionality. The integrated Ethernet MAC with individual DMA ensures high data throughput. The RA6M5 is built on a highly efficient 40nm process and is supported by an open and flexible ecosystem concept—the Flexible Software Package (FSP), built on FreeRTOS—and is expandable to use other RTOSes and middleware. The RA6M5 is suitable for IoT applications requiring Ethernet, future proof security, large embedded RAM, and low active power consumption down to 107µA/MHz running the CoreMark®algorithm from Flash.

Uniquely suited for simple battery-operated sensing applications that require low power operation modes and fast wake-up times, the S124 MCU Group has 128KB of flash memory and 16KB of SRAM. It includes a 14-bit A/D converter, 12-bit D/A converter, and a Capacitive Touch Sensing Unit (CTSU), in addition to safety and security features. Commercial software worth over $100K which is available to developers using the Synergy Platform for no charge and with unlimited production license rights. Ideal for monitoring applications that may require ongoing feature upgrades for multiple services, the S3A7 MCU Group offers ample room for expansion and the optimal combination of low power and high performance, with an Arm®Cortex®-M4 CPU core running up to 48MHz, 1MB of flash memory, and 192KB of SRAM. It includes an additional 12-bit D/A converter as well as multiple 32-bit general PWM timers and serial communications interfaces. Commercial software worth over $100K which is available to developers using the Synergy Platform for no charge and with unlimited production license rights.
