MAX7750414V Input, 3A High-Efficiency Buck Converter in WLP or QFN | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 7 | Active | The MAX77504 is a synchronous 3A step-down DC-DC converter optimized for portable 2-cell and 3-cell battery-operated applications. The converter operates on an input supply between 2.6V and 14V. Output voltage is adjustable between 0.6V and 6V with external feedback resistors. The device features a low-IQSKIP mode that allows excellent efficiency at light loads. The MAX77504 can be sychronized by driving the FPWM pin with an external clock.Dedicated enable, power-OK, and FPWM pins allow simple hardware control. The SEL input easily configures switching frequency, gain, and output active discharge option. Built-in undervoltage lockout (UVLO), output active discharge, cycle-by-cycle inductor current limit, thermal shutdown, and short-circuit protection ensure safe operation under abnormal operating conditions. The MAX77504 is offered in a small 1.7mm x 1.7mm, 16-bump, 0.4mm pitch wafer-level package (WLP) or a 2.5mm x 2.5mm, 12-lead, 0.5mm pitch flip-chip QFN (FC2QFN).Applications1- to 3-Cell Li+/Li-ion Battery-Powered DevicesProfessional Radio, Handheld ComputersMirrorless Cameras, DSLR, and Notebook ComputersPortable Scanners, POS Terminals, PrintersSpace-Constrained Portable Electronics |
MAX7750516V Input, 4.6A Switching Current Low IQ Buck Converter | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 3 | Active | The MAX77505 is a low-quiescent current (800nA typ), high-efficiency hysteretic buck converter operating from a 2.5V to 16V input voltage range. The device offers high efficiency over the entire load range. Hence, it is ideal for either a primary battery or four alkaline batterypowered applications, which require long standby/idling time with short working time, such as asset tracking and door-lock devices.A resistor (RSEL) selects one of thirty preset output voltages between 0.8V and 5.5V. The device has input undervoltage lockout, cycle-by-cycle switch current limit, and thermal shutdown to protect the system and the device itself. The device is available in a 10-lead FC2QFN package (2.0mm x 2.0mm x 0.55mm).APPLICATIONS2-3 Cell Li+ Battery Applications4-Cell Alkaline Battery ApplicationsIoT, Wearable DevicesSmart Meter, Door Locks, Asset Trackers, etc. |

MAX775415.5VIN/6A, Dual-Phase High-Efficiency Buck Converter | Power Management (PMIC) | 4 | Active | The MAX77541 is a high-efficiency step-down converter with two 3A switching phases for single-cell Li+ battery and 5VDCsystems. It uses an adaptive COT (constant on-time) current-mode control architecture and the two 3A switching phases can be configured as either one (2Φ, 6A) or two (1Φ, 3A each) outputs. The output voltages are preset with resistors and are further adjustable through an I2C compatible interface. With 91% peak efficiency, low quiescent current, and compact solution size, the MAX77541 is ideal for battery powered, space-constraint equipment.Programmable switching frequency, frequency tracking, and spread-spectrum allow easier system optimization for noise-sensitive applications. Dedicated EN, POK, and FPWM pins provide options for direct hardware control, while more programmable options such as soft-start/stop and ramp-up/down slew-rates are available through I2C. An array of built-in protections ensures safe operation under abnormal operating conditions.ApplicationsSingle-Cell Li+ and 5VDCSystemsGaming Consoles and VR/AR HeadsetsMicroprocessors, FPGAs, DSPs, and ASICsNetwork Switches and Routers |
