ST2S06Dual synchronous rectification with reset or inhibit, 0.5 A, 1.5 MHz adjustable step-down switching regulator | Power Management (PMIC) | 2 | Active | The ST2S06A33 and ST2S06B are dual step-down DC-DC converters optimized for powering low-voltage digital cores in ODD applications and, generally, to replace high current linear solutions when the power dissipation may cause high heating of the application environment. It provides up to 0.5 A over an input voltage range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V.
A high switching frequency of 1.5 MHz allows the use of tiny surface-mount components as well as a resistor divider to set the output voltage value. Only an inductor and two capacitors are required. A low output ripple is guaranteed by the current mode PWM topology and the utilization of low ESR SMD ceramic capacitors. The devices are thermally protected and current-limited to prevent damage due to accidental short-circuit. The ST2S06A33 and ST2S06B are available in the QFN12L (4x4 mm) package. |
ST3222C3 TO 3.6V, LOW POWER, UP TO 400 KBPS RS-232 DRIVERS AND RECEIVERS, [0oC, 70oC] TEMPERATURE RANGE | Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers | 2 | Active | The ST3222 is a 3 V powered EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 communications interface with low power requirements and high data-rate capabilities. ST3222 has a proprietary low dropout transmitter output stage providing true RS-232 performance from 3 to 3.6 V power supplies. The device requires only four small 0.1 mF standard external capacitors for operating from 3 V supply. The ST3222 has two receivers and two drivers. The ST3222 features a 1 mA shutdown mode that reduces power consumption and extends battery life in portable systems. Its receivers can remain active in shutdown mode, allowing external devices such as modems to be monitored using only 1 mA supply current. The device is guaranteed to run at data rates of 250 Kbps while maintaining RS-232 output levels. Typical applications are notebooks, sub-notebooks and palmtop computers, battery powered equipment, hand-held equipment, peripherals and printers. |
ST3232EC±15kV ESD protection 3 to 5.5V low power, up to 250kbps, RS-232 drivers and receivers | Interface | 9 | Active | The ST3232B and ST3232C devices are 3 V powered EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 communication interfaces with low power requirements and high data-rate capabilities.
These devices have a proprietary low dropout transmitter output stage providing true RS-232 performance from 3 to 5.5 V supplies. The devices require only four small 0.1 mF standard external capacitors for operation from a 3 V supply.
The ST3232B and ST3232C have two receivers and two drivers.
The devices are guaranteed to run at data rates of 250 kbps while maintaining RS-232 output levels. Typical applications are notebooks, subnotebooks and palmtop computers, battery-powered equipment, hand-held equipment, peripherals, and printers. |
ST3237EB15KV ESP PROTECTED 3 TO 5.5V 250KBPS RS-232 TRANSCEIVER WITH STAND-BY, [-40oC, 85oC] TEMPERATURE RANGE | Interface | 2 | Active | The ST3237E is a 3V to 5.5V powered EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 communication interfaces high data-rate capability and enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection at ±8 kV using IEC1000-4-2 contact discharge and ±15kV using Human Body Model (HBM). The other pins are protected with standard ESD protection at ±2 kV using HBM method. The ST3237C is a transceiver (5 drivers, 3 receivers) for fast modem applications.
The device has a proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage providing true RS-232 performance from a 3V to 5.5V supply using a dual charge pump. The device is guaranteed to run at data rates of 250 kbps in the normal operation mode and 1Mbps in the very high speed operation mode while maintaining RS-232 output levels. |
ST3241EC15kV ESD protected 3 to 5.5V, 400kbps, RS-232 transceiver with auto power-down | Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers | 2 | Active | The ST3241E device consists of 3 drivers, 5 receivers, and a dual charge-pump circuit. The device meets the requirements of EIA/TIA and V.28/V.24 communication standards providing high data rate capability and enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. All transmitter outputs and receiver inputs are protected to ±8 kV using IEC 1000-4-2 contact discharge and ±15 kV using the human body model. The receiver R2 is always active to implement a wake-up feature for the serial port.
The ST3241E has a proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage enabling true RS-232 performance from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply with a dual charge pump. The device is guaranteed to run at data rates of 250 kbps while maintaining RS-232 output levels.
It is a complete serial port (3 drivers, 5 receivers) intended for notebook or sub-notebook computers. Receivers R1 and R2 have extra outputs in addition to their standard outputs. These extra outputs are always active.
Typical applications are in notebooks, sub-notebooks, palmtop computers, battery-powered equipment, hand-held equipment, peripherals, and printers. |
ST3243EB±15kV ESD protected 3 to 5.5V, 400kbps, RS-232 transceiver with auto power-down | Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers | 3 | Active | The ST3243E device consists of 3 drivers, 5 receivers and a dual charge-pump circuit. The device meets the requirements of EIA/TIA and V.28/V.24 communication standards providing high data rate capability and enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. All transmitter outputs and receiver input are protected to ±8 kV USING IEC 1000-4-2 contact discharge and ±15 kV using the human body model. The receiver R2 is always active to implement a wake-up feature for serial port.
The ST3243E has a proprietary low-dropout transmitter output stage enabling true RS-232 performance from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply with a dual charge pump. The device is guaranteed to run at data rates of 250kbps while maintaining RS-232 output levels.
The auto-powerdown feature functions when FORCEON is low andFORCEOFFis high. During this mode of operation, if the device does not sense a valid RS-232 signal, the driver outputs are disabled. IfFORCEOFFis set low, both drivers and receivers (expert R2B) are shut off, and supply current is reduced to 1 µA.
Disconnecting the serial port or turning off the peripheral drives causes the auto power-down condition to occur.
Auto power-down can be disabled when FORCEON andFORCEOFFare high, and should be done when driving a serial mouse. With auto power-down enabled, the device is activated automatically when a valid signal is applied to any receiver input.
Typical application are in notebook, subnotebook, palmtop computers, battery-powered equipment, hand-held equipment, peripherals and printers. |
