Included in the module is a high-performance digital PWM controller, power MOSFETs, an inductor, and all the passive components required for a highly integrated DC/DC power solution. This power module has built-in auto-compensation algorithms, which eliminate the need for manual compensation design work. The ZL9101M operates over a wide input voltage range and supports an output voltage range of 0. 6V to 3. 6V, which can be set by external resistors or through PMBus. This high-efficiency power module is capable of delivering 12A. Only bulk input and output capacitors are needed to finish the design. The output voltage can be precisely regulated to as low as 0. 6V with ±1% output voltage regulation over line, load, and temperature variations. The ZL9101M features auto compensation, internal soft-start, auto-recovery overcurrent protection, an enable option, and prebiased output start-up capabilities. The ZL9101M is packaged in a thermally enhanced, compact (15mmx15mm) and low profile (3. 5mm) overmolded QFN package module suitable for automated assembly by standard surface mount equipment. The ZL9101M is RoHS compliant. For PMBus operation, it is recommended to tie the Enable pin (EN) to SGND. |

The ZLED7000 operates in continuous mode. Capable of operating efficiently with voltage supplies ranging from 6 VDC to 40 VDC, it is ideal for low-voltage lighting applications. The ZLED7000 minimizes current consumption by remaining in a low-current standby mode (output is off) until a voltage of ≥0.3V is applied to the ADJ pin.
In operating mode, the ZLED7000 can source LEDs with an output current of ≤750mA (≤30 watts of output power) that is externally adjustable (see data sheet). The ZLED7000's integrated output switch and high-side current sensing circuit use an external resistor to adjust the average output current. Linearity is achieved via an external control signal at the ZLED7000's ADJ pin, implemented either as a pulse-width modulation (PWM) waveform for a gated output current or a DC voltage for a continuous current. |
