TC205450mA CMOS LDO with Shutdown and Error Output | Power Management (PMIC) | 5 | Active | The TC2054, TC2055, and TC2186 are high accuracy (typically ±0.4%) CMOS upgrades for older (bipolar) low dropout regulators. Designed specifically for battery-operated systems, the devices’ total supply current is typically 55µA at full load ( 20 to 60 times lower than in bipolar regulators). The devices’ key features include ultra low noise operation, very low dropout voltage - typically 45mV (TC2054); 90mV (TC2055); and 140mV (TC2186) at full load - and fast response to step changes in load. An error output (ERROR) is asserted when the devices are out-of-regulation (due to a low input voltage or excessive output current). Supply current is reduced to 0.5µA (max) and both VOUT and ERROR are disabled when the shutdown input is low. The devices also incorporate over-current protection. The TC2054, TC2055, and TC2186 are stable with a low ESR output capacitor of only 1µF and have a maximum output current of 50mA, 100mA, and 150mA, respectively. This LDO Family also features a fast response time (60msec typically) when released from shutdown. |
TC2055100mA CMOS LDO with Shutdown and Error Output | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 4 | Active | The TC2054, TC2055, and TC2186 are high accuracy (typically ±0.4%) CMOS upgrades for older (bipolar) low dropout regulators. TC2117800mA Fixed Low Dropout Positive Regulator | Power Management (PMIC) | 6 | Active | The TC2117 is a fixed, high accuracy (typically ±0.5%) CMOS low dropout regulator. Designed specifically for battery-operated systems, the TC2117’s CMOS construction eliminates wasted ground current, significantly extending battery life. Total supply current is typically 80 µA at no load, (20 to 60 times lower than in bipolar regulators) TC2117 key features include ultra low noise, very low dropout voltage (typically 600 mV at full load), and fast response to step changes in load. The TC2117 incorporates both over-temperature and over-current protection. The TC2117 is stable with an output capacitor of only 1µF and has a maximum output current of 800 mA. |
TC2185150mA CMOS LDO w/ Shutdown and Vref Bypass | Voltage Regulators - Linear, Low Drop Out (LDO) Regulators | 6 | Active | The TC2014, TC2015, and TC2185 are high accuracy (typically ±0.4%) CMOS upgrades for older (bipolar) low dropout regulators such as the LP2980. Total supply current is typically 55µA (20 to 60 times lower than in bipolar regulators). The devices’ key features include ultra low noise operation (plus bypass reference), very low dropout voltage - typically 45 mV (TC2014); 90 mV (TC2015); and 140 mV (TC2185) at full load - and fast response to step changes in load. Supply current is reduced to 0.5 µA (max) and VOUT falls to zero when the shutdown input is low. The devices also incorporate over-current protection. The TC2014, TC2015 and TC2185 are stable with an output capacitor of only 1µF and have a maximum output current of 50 mA, 100 mA, and 150 mA, respectively. For higher output versions, see the TC1107, TC1108 and TC1173 (IOUT = 300 mA) data sheets. |
TC2186150mA CMOS LDO with Shutdown and Error Output | PMIC | 4 | Active | The TC2054, TC2055, and TC2186 are high accuracy (typically ±0.4%) CMOS upgrades for older (bipolar) low dropout regulators. This LDO Family also features a fast response time (60 µsec typically) when released from shutdown. |
TC2320N/P-Channel Enhancement-Mode Dual MOSFET | Transistors | 1 | Active | TC2320 consists of a high voltage, low threshold N- and P-channel MOSFET in an 8-Lead SOIC package. This low threshold enhancement-mode (normally-off) transistor utilizes an advanced vertical DMOS structure and well-proven silicon-gate manufacturing process. This combination produces a device with the power handling capabilities of bipolar transistors and with the high input impedance and positive temperature coefficient inherent in MOS devices. Characteristic of all MOS structures, this device is free from thermal runaway and thermally-induced secondary breakdown.
Vertical DMOS FETs are ideally suited to a wide range of switching and amplifying applications where very low threshold voltage, high breakdown voltage, high input impedance, low input capacitance, and fast switching speeds are desired. |
