AD8293G160Low Cost, Zero-Drift In-Amp with Filter and Fixed Gain = 160 | Amplifiers | 9 | Active | The AD8293G80/AD8293G160are small, low cost, precision instrumentation amplifiers that have low noise and rail-to-rail outputs. They are available in two fixed-gain models: 80 and 160. They incorporate the gain setting resistors and filter resistors, reducing the number of ancillary components. For example, only two external capacitors are needed to implement a 2-pole filter. The AD8293G80/AD8293G160 also feature low offset voltage, offset drift, and gain drift coupled with high common mode rejection. They are capable of operating on a supply of 1.8 V to 5.5 V.With a low offset voltage of 20 μV (AD8293G160B), an offset voltage drift of 0.3 μV/°C, and a voltage noise of only 0.7 μV p-p (0.01 Hz to 10 Hz), the AD8293G80/AD8293G160 are ideal for applications where error sources cannot be tolerated.Precision instrumentation, position and pressure sensors, medical instrumentation, and strain gauge amplifiers benefit from the low noise, low input bias current, and high common mode rejection. The small footprint and low cost are ideal for high volume applications. The small package and low power consumption allow the maximum channel density and the minimum board size required for portable systems. Designed for ease of use, these instrumentation amplifiers, unlike more traditional ones, have a buffered reference, eliminating the need for an additional op amp to set the reference voltage to midsupply. The AD8293G80/AD8293G160 are specified over the industrial temperature range from −40°C to +85°C. The AD8293G80/AD8293G160 are available in a halogen-free, Pb-free, 8-lead SOT-23.ApplicationsCurrent sensingStrain gaugesLaser diode control loopsPortable medical instrumentsThermocouple amplifiersData Sheet, Rev. 0, 07/08 |
AD8295Precision Instrumentation Amplifier with Signal Processing Amplifiers | Instrumentation, Op Amps, Buffer Amps | 2 | Active | The AD8295 contains all the components necessary for a precision instrumentation amplifier front end in one small 4 mm × 4 mm package. It contains a high performance instrumentation amplifier, two general-purpose operational amplifiers, and two precisely matched 10 kΩ resistors. The AD8295 has been designed to make PCB routing easy and efficient. The AD8295 components are arranged in a logical way so that typical application circuits have short routes and few vias. Unlike most chip scale packages, the AD8295 does not have an exposed metal pad on the back of the part, which frees up additional space for routing and vias. The AD8295 comes in a 4 mm × 4 mm LFCSP that requires half the board space of an 8-pin SOIC package. The AD8295 includes a high performance, programmable gain instrumentation amplifier. Gain is set from 1 to 1000 with a single resistor. The low noise and excellent common-mode rejection of the AD8295 enable the part to easily detect small signals even in the presence of large common-mode interference. For a similar instrumentation amplifier without the associated signal conditioning circuitry, see theAD8221orAD8222data sheet. The AD8295 operates on both single and dual supplies and is well suited for applications where ±10 V input voltages are encountered. Performance is specified over the entire industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C for all grades. The AD8295 is operational from −40°C to +125°C; see the Typical Performance Characteristics section for expected operation up to 125°C.ApplicationsIndustrial process controlsWheatstone bridgesPrecision data acquisition systemsMedical instrumentationStrain gaugesTransducer interfacesDifferential outputData Sheet, Rev 0, 11/2008 |
AD830High Speed, Video Difference Amplifier | Amplifiers | 5 | Active | The AD830 is a wideband, differencing amplifier designed for use at video frequencies but also useful in many other applications. It accurately amplifies a fully differential signal at the input and produces an ouput voltage referred to a user-chosen level. The undesired common-mode signal is rejected, even at high frequencies. High impedance input ease interfacing to finite source impedances and thus preserve the excellent common-mode rejection. In many respects, it offers significant improvements over discrete difference amplifier approaches, in particular in high frequency common-mode rejection. The wide common-mode and differential-voltage range of the AD830 make it particularly useful and flexible in level shifting applications, but at lower power dissipation than discrete solutions. Low distortion is preserved over the many possible differential and common-mode voltages at the input and output.Good gain flatness and excellent differential gain of 0.06% and phase of 0.08° make the AD830 suitable for many video system applications. Furthermore, the AD830 is suited for general purpose signal processing from dc to 10 MHz.APPLICATIONSDifferential line receiverHigh speed level shifterHigh speed in-ampDifferential to single-ended conversionResistorless summation and subtractionHigh speed analog-to-digital converter |
