MAX4706Low-Voltage, 2Ω, SPST, CMOS Analog Switches | Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers | 1 | Active | The MAX4706/MAX4707 single-pole/single-throw (SPST) switches operate from a single 1.8V to 5.5V supply. The MAX4706 is a normally closed (NC) switch and the MAX4707 is the normally open (NO) version. These switches provide 2Ω on-resistance (RON) and 0.6Ω RONflatness with a +2.7V supply. These devices typically consume only 0.02µA of quiescent current, making them suitable for use in low-power, portable applications. The MAX4706/MAX4707 feature low-leakage currents over the entire temperature range, TTL/CMOS-compatible digital logic, and excellent AC characteristics. The MAX4706/MAX4707 are offered in small 5-pin and 6-pin SC70 and 6-pin µDFN packages.ApplicationsAudio Signal RoutingBattery-Operated EquipmentCommunications CircuitsLow-Voltage Data-Acquisition SystemsRelay ReplacementSample-and-Hold Circuits |

MAX4714.5Ω/20Ω, 300MHz Bandwidth, Dual SPDT Analog Switches in UCSP | Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers | 11 | Active | The MAX4717/MAX4718 low-voltage, low on-resistance (RON), dual single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) analog switches operate from a single +1.8V to +5.5V supply. These devices are designed for USB 1.1 and audio switching applications. The MAX4717 features two 4.5Ω RON(max) SPDT switches with 1.2Ω flatness and 0.3Ω matching between channels. The MAX4718 features one 4.5Ω RON(max) SPDT switch and one 20Ω RON(max) SPDT switch. The 20Ω switch has a guaranteed matching and flatness of 0.4Ω and 1.2Ω, respectively. These switches offer break-before-make switching (1ns) with tON< 80ns and tOFF< 40ns at +2.7V. The digital logic inputs are +1.8V logic compatible with a +2.7V to +3.6V supply. These switches are packaged in a chip-scale package (UCSP™), significantly reducing the required PC board area. The chip occupies only a 2.0mm x 1.50mm area and has a 4 x 3 bump array with a bump pitch of 0.5mm. These switches are also available in a 10-pin µMAX® package.ApplicationsAudio/Video Signal RoutingBattery-Operated EquipmentCell PhonesHeadphone SwitchingLow-Voltage Data-Acquisition SystemsPDAsSample-and-Hold CircuitsUSB 1.1 Signal Switching Circuits |

MAX4713Fault-Protected, Low-Voltage, Quad SPST Analog Switches | Interface | 10 | Active | The MAX4711/MAX4712/MAX4713 are fault-protected, Rail-to-Rail, low-voltage analog switches featuring low on-resistance and guaranteed on-resistance flatness over the specified signal range. Due to the fault protection feature the analog switch input (NO_ or NC_) and output (COM_) pins are not symmetrical. The fault protection feature allows for the analog input to go beyond the plus or minus supplies without the device drawing excessive amounts of current from the analog inputs. When the analog inputs are driven beyond the supply rails when the switch is on, it will sense a fault and turn itself off and the analog switch output will be clamped to the same polarity supply as the input signal and will not go beyond the supply rails. This feature protects any electronic circuitry connected to the output from excessive voltages present on the analog inputs. The MAX4711/MAX4712/MAX4713 are quad, singlepole/single-throw (SPST) analog switches. The MAX4711 has four normally closed switches (NC), the MAX4712 has four normally open switches (NO), and the MAX4713 has two NO and two NC switches. Switching times are less than 125ns for tON, and less than 80ns for tOFF. These switches operate from a single +2.7V to +11V supply or from dual ±2.7V to ±5.5V supplies. All digital inputs have +0.8V to +2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring both TTL and CMOS logic compatibility when using ±4.5V to ±5.5V or single +4.5V to +11V supplies.ApplicationsAvionicsBattery-Operated SystemsCommunication SystemsData AcquisitionIndustrial and Process Control SystemsRedundant/Backup SystemsSignal RoutingTest Equipment |
