The LTM4611 is a high density 15A output, switch mode DC/DC buck converter power supply capable of operating from very low voltage input supplies. Included in the package are the buck switching controller, power FETs, inductor and loop-compensation components. The LTM4611 delivers up to 15A continuous current at high efficiency from an input voltage of 1.5VINup to 5.5VIN. The output voltage is set between 0.8V and 5V by a resistor. Only a few input and output capacitors are needed.High switching frequency and a current mode architecture enable a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability. The device supports frequency synchronization, multiphase/current sharing operation, Burst Mode operation and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing.The LTM4611 is available in a thermally enhanced 15mm × 15mm × 4.32mm LGA package. The LTM4612 is a EN55022 Class B certified high voltage input and output, 5A switching mode DC/DC power supply. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductor and all support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 5V to 36V, the LTM4612 supports an output voltage range of 3.3V to 15V, set by a single resistor. Only bulk input and output capacitors are needed to finish the design.High switching frequency and an adaptive on-time current mode architecture enables a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability.The on-board input filter and noise cancellation circuits achieve low noise coupling, thus effectively reducing the electromagnetic interference (EMI)—see Figures 4 and 8. The LTM4615 is a complete 4A dual output switching mode DC/DC power supply plus an additional 1.5A VLDO (very low dropout) linear regulator. Included in the package are the switching controllers, power FETs, inductors, a 1.5A regulator and all support components. The dual 4A DC/DC converters operate over an input voltage range of 2.375V to 5.5V, and the VLDO operates from a 1.14V to 3.5V input. The LTM4615 supports output voltages ranging from 0.8V to 5V for the DC/DC converters, and 0.4V to 2.6V for the VLDO. The three regulator output voltages are set by a single resistor for each output. Only bulk input and output capacitors are needed to complete the design.The low profile package (2.82mm) enables utilization of unused space on the bottom of PC boards for high density point of load regulation. The LTM4620A is a complete dual 13A, or single 26A output switching mode DC/DC power supply with wider VOUTrange and higher efficiency than the LTM4620. Included in the package are the switching controller, power FETs, inductors and all supporting components. Operating from an input voltage range of 4.5V to 16V, the LTM4620A supports two outputs each with an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.3V, set by a single external resistor. Its high efficiency design delivers up to 13A continuous current for each output.
