TLC2272A-Q1Advanced LinCMOS™ rail-to-rail dual precision operational amplifier with wide temperature r | Instrumentation, OP Amps, Buffer Amps | 37 | Active | The TLC2272 and TLC2274 are dual and quadruple operational amplifiers from Texas Instruments. Both devices exhibit rail-to-rail output performance for increased dynamic range in single- or split-supply applications. The TLC227x family offers 2 MHz of bandwidth and 3 V/µs of slew rate for higher-speed applications. These devices offer comparable AC performance while having better noise, input offset voltage, and power dissipation than existing CMOS operational amplifiers. The TLC227x has a noise voltage of 9 nV/√Hz, two times lower than competitive solutions.
The TLC227x family of devices, exhibiting high input impedance and low noise, is excellent for small-signal conditioning for high-impedance sources such as piezoelectric transducers. Because of the micropower dissipation levels, these devices work well in hand-held monitoring and remote-sensing applications. In addition, the rail-to-rail output feature, with single- or split-supplies, makes this family a great choice when interfacing with analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). For precision applications, the TLC227xA family is available with a maximum input offset voltage of 950 µV. This family is fully characterized at 5 V and ±5 V.
The TLC227x also make great upgrades to the TLC27x in standard designs. They offer increased output dynamic range, lower noise voltage, and lower input offset voltage. This enhanced feature set allows them to be used in a wider range of applications. For applications that require higher output drive and wider input voltage range, see the TLV2432 and TLV2442 devices.
If the design requires single amplifiers, see the TLV2211, TLV2221 and TLV2231 family. These devices are single rail-to-rail operational amplifiers in the SOT-23 package. Their small size and low power consumption make them ideal for high density, battery-powered equipment.

TLC251BSingle, 16-V, 1.7-MHz, In to V- op amp with 1.4-V supply capability with programmable bandwidth | Instrumentation, Op Amps, Buffer Amps | 7 | Active | The TLC251C, TLC251AC, and TLC251BC are low-cost, low-power programmable operational amplifiers designed to operate with single or dual supplies. Unlike traditional metal-gate CMOS operational amplifiers, these devices utilize Texas Instruments silicon-gate LinCMOSTMprocess, giving them stable input offset voltages without sacrificing the advantages of metal-gate CMOS.
This series of parts is available in selected grades of input offset voltage and can be nulled with one external potentiometer. Because the input common-mode range extends to the negative rail and the power consumption is extremely low, this family is ideally suited for battery-powered or energy-conserving applications. A bias-select pin can be used to program one of three ac performance and power-dissipation levels to suit the application. The series features operation down to a 1.4-V supply and is stable at unity gain.
These devices have internal electrostatic-discharge (ESD) protection circuits that prevent catastrophic failures at voltages up to 2000 V as tested under MIL-STD-883C, Method 3015.1. However, care should be exercised in handling these devices as exposure to ESD may result in a degradation of the device parametric performance.
Because of the extremely high input impedance and low input bias and offset currents, applications for the TLC251C series include many areas that have previously been limited to BIFET and NFET product types. Any circuit using high-impedance elements and requiring small offset errors is a good candidate for cost-effective use of these devices. Many features associated with bipolar technology are available with LinCMOSTMoperational amplifiers without the power penalties of traditional bipolar devices. Remote and inaccessible equipment applications are possible using the low-voltage and low-power capabilities of the TLC251C series.
In addition, by driving the bias-select input with a logic signal from a microprocessor, these operational amplifiers can have software-controlled performance and power consumption. The TLC251C series is well suited to solve the difficult problems associated with single battery and solar cell-powered applications.
The TLC251C series is characterized for operation from 0°C to 70°C.

TLC255112-Bit, 400 kSPS ADC, Serial Out, TMS320 Compatible (up to 10MHz), Single Ch. | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 5 | Active | The TLC2551, TLC2552, and TLC2555 are a family of high performance, 12-bit, low-power, miniature, CMOS analog-to-digital converters (ADC). The TLC255x family uses a 5-V supply. Devices are available with single, dual, or single pseudo-differential inputs. Each device has a chip select (CS)\, serial clock (SCLK), and serial data output (SDO) that provides a direct 3-wire interface to the serial port of most popular host microprocessors (SPI interface). When interfaced with a TMS320™ DSP, a frame sync signal (FS) can be used to indicate the start of a serial data frame on CS\ for all devices or on FS for the TLC2551.
The TLC2551, TLC2552, and TLC2555 are designed to operate with very low power consumption. The power saving feature is further enhanced with an autopower down mode. This product family features a high-speed serial link to modern host processors with SCLK up to 20 MHz. The maximum SCLK frequency is dependent upon the mode of operation (see Table 1). The TLC255x family uses the SCLK as the conversion clock, which provides synchronous operation and a minimum conversion time of 1.5 µs using a 20 MHz SCLK.
The TLC2551, TLC2552, and TLC2555 are a family of high performance, 12-bit, low-power, miniature, CMOS analog-to-digital converters (ADC).
