STEVAL-SMARTAG2NFC dynamic tag sensor and processing node evaluation board | Evaluation Boards | 1 | Active | The STEVAL-SMARTAG2 is an NFC-enabled sensor node with inertial MEMS sensors and environmental sensors, an STM32 microcontroller, and a dynamic NFC tag for communication with NFC readers, such as tablets and smartphones.
Optionally, the STEVAL-SMARTAG2 can be equipped with: a battery charger fed by a full-wave rectifier for NFC energy harvesting (on top of the energy harvester already embedded in the dynamic NFC tag) and a real-time clock (RTC) with an embedded crystal oscillator to enable an accurate timekeeping and time stamping.
The board has a small and thin form factor, comparable to the size of a credit card, which makes it particularly fit for deployment in the field and data collection. |
STEVAL-SPIMD20V1Power drive system demonstration kit based on the SPIMD20 integrated motor drive | Evaluation Boards | 1 | NRND | The STEVAL-SPIMD20V1 demonstration kit provides a complete demonstration platform for evaluating the functionality and the performance of the SPIMD20 power drive system designed by STMicroelectronics in cooperation with ROBOX S.p.A.
The SPIMD20 is an integrated motor drive with real-time connectivity enabling brushless motor manufacturers to create a proprietary motion control system based on a general purpose brick. |
STEVAL-TTM002V1Control board for automotive motor control applications | Evaluation Boards | 1 | Active | The STEVAL-TTM002V1 control board is based on the high performance SPC560P50L3 automotive microcontroller with dedicated peripherals for motor control, such as 10-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADC) and high resolution timers (FlexPWM) with complementary or independent outputs and ADC synchronization signals.
This standalone control board includes a standard 34-pin motor control interface, so it can be connected to any driving stage of a motor control application, ensuring maximum flexibility. |
STEVAL-USBI2CFTUSB to I2C evaluation board for interfacing wireless applications with PC GUI tool | Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits | 1 | Active | The STEVAL-USBI2CFT is an evaluation board based on the FT260Q. It is designed for communication and programming of all ST wireless charging evaluation boards and WLC ICs on custom design boards.
The STEVAL-USBI2CFT allows the quick start of Qi compatible wireless charging transmitter and receiver projects.
With the usage of a USB I2C bridge, the user can monitor and control the ST wireless charging evaluation boards using the STSW-WPSTUDIO graphical user interface (GUI).
The STEVAL-USBI2CFT board includes an internal level-shifter.
The voltage level can be changed soldering one of the soldering bridges.
The voltage can be set to 1.8, 2.5 or 3.3 V depending from what solder bridge was soldered. |
STEVAL-VOICE-UIVoice user interface evaluation kit | Development Boards, Kits, Programmers | 1 | Obsolete | The STEVAL-VOICE-UI Amazon™ qualified evaluation kit is designed to allow evaluation of a cost-effective way to integrate AVS for AWS IoT Services®into smart devices, so they can implement state-of-art, hands-free voice control based on natural language comprehension.
Users will therefore enjoy a heightened experience with target IoT end products, with the ability to talk to Amazon Alexa and control smart home devices, get assistance, listen to the news, check the weather forecast, play music, etc.
The software package implements audio front-end, Amazon wake word, audio playback and Amazon Alexa®communication protocol software. The SDK runs on internal memories only, offering maximum integration and cost-effective solutions.
The STEVAL-VOICE-UI is built with a modular approach for easy prototyping and debugging purposes as well as easy adaptation to specific microphone spacings, user interface and audio output requirements. |
STEVAL-VP22201B5 V - 360 mA buck converter based on VIPer222XSTR | DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS | 1 | Active | The STEVAL-VP22201B evaluation board implements a 5 V - 1.8 W buck converter developed for general purpose applications operating from 85 to 265 VAC.
The reference design is built around the VIPer222XSTR offline high-voltage converter from the VIPerPlus family, with 730 V Power MOSFET and PWM current-mode control.
The main characteristics of the evaluation board are its small size and minimal BOM, low stand-by consumption and tight line and load regulation over the entire input and output range. Extremely low consumption under no-load condition is ensured thanks to burst mode operation that reduces the average switching frequency and minimizes all frequency related losses.
VIPer222XSTR operates at 30 kHz fixed frequency with frequency jittering to enable compliance with standards regarding electromagnetic disturbance. |
STEVAL-VP318L2F15 V/1.2 A isolated PSR Flyback converter based on VIPER31 | DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS Evaluation Boards | 1 | Active | The STEVAL-VP318L2F implements a 15 V-18 W isolated flyback converter in primary side regulation (PSR) developed for general purpose applications, operating from 90 to 265 VAC.
The reference design is built around the VIPER318LDTR offline high-voltage converter which belongs to the VIPerPlus family and features an 800 V avalanche-rugged power MOSFET, PWM current mode control, fixed 60 kHz switching frequency with jittering to meet electromagnetic disturbance standards and burst mode for light load management.
The evaluation board main characteristics are: small size, minimal BOM, high efficiency and tight line, load regulation over the entire input and output ranges.
Input overvoltage and undervoltage protections, with separate and settable intervention thresholds, are available at OVP and UVP pins. |
STEVAL-WESU1Wearable sensor unit reference design for fast time to market | Evaluation Boards | 1 | Obsolete | STEVAL-WESU1 is a reference design developed and optimized to help designers implement the latest technologies in wearable and portable applications.
The small form factor of the hardware allows it to be enclosed in a watch strap, so the user can experience a real activity monitoring system and immediately begin appreciating the sensor data acquisition, as well as all of the embedded hardware and firmware features, also thanks to the ST WeSU app available free of charge from Apple Store™ and Google Play™ stores. The Apps are based on BlueST SDK, available on GitHub.
Advanced users can also further reduce the hardware form factor; please refer to STEVAL-WESU1 user manual for more details.
The STEVAL-WESU1 firmware package is built on the STM32Cube software technology so it can easily be augmented with further algorithms. It runs on STM32L151VEY6 and includes the drivers to manage three sensors (LSM6DS3, LIS3MDL and LPS25HB), the Bluetooth low energy network processor (BlueNRG-MS) and the battery management ICs (STC3115 and STNS01).
The firmware is freely available on www.st.com. |
