LD10853 A low drop positive voltage regulator: adjustable and fixed | PMIC | 8 | Active | The LD1085 is a low drop voltage regulator able to provide up to 3 A of output current. Dropout is guaranteed at a maximum of 1.2 V at the maximum output current, decreasing at lower loads. The LD1085 is pin-to-pin compatible with the older 3-terminal adjustable regulators, but offers better performance in terms of drop and output tolerance.
Unlike PNP regulators, where a part of the output current is wasted as quiescent current, the LD1085 quiescent current flows into the load, thus increase efficiency. Only a 10 μF minimum capacitor is need for stability.
The device is supplied in TO-220, TO-220FP, D²PAK and D²PAK/A packages. On-chip trimming allows the regulator to reach a very tight output voltage tolerance, within ± 1% at 25 °C. |

LD1117ALow drop fixed and adjustable positive voltage regulators | Power Management (PMIC) | 16 | Active | The LD1117 is a low drop voltage regulator able to provide up to 800 mA of output current, available even in adjustable version (VREF= 1.25 V). Concerning fixed versions, are offered the following output voltages: 1.2 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 2.85 V, 3.3 V and 5.0 V. The device is supplied in: SOT-223, DPAK, SO-8 and TO-220. The SOT-223 and DPAK surface mount packages optimize the thermal characteristics even offering a relevant space saving effect. High efficiency is assured by NPN pass transistor. In fact in this case, unlike than PNP one, the quiescent current flows mostly into the load. Only a very common 10 μF minimum capacitor is needed for stability. On chip trimming allows the regulator to reach a very tight output voltage tolerance, within ± 1 % at 25 °C. The adjustable LD1117 is pin to pin compatible with the other standard. Adjustable voltage regulators maintaining the better performances in terms of drop and tolerance. |

LD2980Ultra low drop voltage regulators compatible with low ESR output capacitors | PMIC | 5 | Active | The low drop voltage and the ultra low quiescent current make them suitable for low noise, low power applications and in battery powered systems. The quiescent current in sleep mode is less than 1 μA when the INHIBIT pin is pulled low. A shutdown logic control function is available on pin n° 3 (TTL compatible). This means that when the device is used as a local regulator, it is possible to put part of the board in standby, decreasing the total power consumption. The LD2980 is designed to work with low ESR ceramic capacitors. Typical applications are instrumentation, SMPS, audio systems, and industrial control boards. |
