The input common mode range extends from V–to V+and beyond: these amplifiers operate with inputs up to 76V above V–independent of V+. Internal resistors protect the inputs against transient faults up to 25V below the negative supply. The LT6015/LT6016/ LT6017 can drive loads up to 25mA and are unity-gain stable with capacitive loads as large as 200pF. Optional external compensation can be added to extend the capacitive drive capability beyond 200pF.The LT6015 is offered in a 5-lead SOT package. LT6100Precision, Gain Selectable High Side Current Sense Amplifier | Amplifiers | 6 | Active | The LT6100 is a complete micropower, precision, high side current sense amplifier. The LT6100 monitors unidirectional currents via the voltage across an external sense resistor. Fixed gains of 10, 12.5, 20, 25, 40, 50V/V are obtained by simply strapping or floating two gain select pins. Gain accuracy is better than 0.5% for all gains. The LT6100 sense inputs have a voltage range that extends from 4.1V to 48V, and can withstand a differential voltage of the full supply. This makes it possible to monitor the voltage across a MOSFET switch or a fuse. The part can also withstand a reverse battery condition on the inputs.Input offset is a low 300µV. CMRR and PSRR are in excess of 105dB, resulting in a wide dynamic range. A filter pin is provided to easily implement signal filtering with a single capacitor. The LT6100 has a separate supply input, which operates from 2.7V to 36V and draws only 60µA. When VCCis powered down, the sense pins are biased off. This prevents loading of the monitored circuit, irrespective of the sense voltage. The LT6100 is available in an 8-lead DFN and MSOP package.ApplicationsBattery MonitoringFuse MonitoringPortable and Cellular PhonesPortable Test/Measurement Systems |
LT6105Precision, Rail-to-Rail Input Current Sense Amplifier | Amplifiers | 5 | Active | The LT6105 is a micropower, precision current sense amplifier with a very wide input common mode range. The LT6105 monitors unidirectional current via the voltage across an external sense resistor. The input common mode range extends from –0.3V to 44V, with respect to the negative supply voltage (V–). This allows the LT6105 to operate as a high side current sense monitor or a low side current sense monitor. It also allows the LT6105 to monitor current on a negative supply voltage, as well as continuously monitor a battery from full charge to depletion. The inputs of LT6105 can withstand differential voltages up to ±44V, which makes it ideal for monitoring a fuse or MOSFET switch.Gain is configured with external resistors from 1V/V to 100V/V. The input common mode rejection and power supply rejection are in excess of 100dB and the input offset voltage is less than 300µV. A minimum slew rate of 2V/µs ensures fast response to unexpected current changes. The LT6105 can operate from an independent power supply of 2.85V to 36V and draws only 150µA. When V+is powered down, the sense pins are biased off. This prevents loading of the monitored circuit, irrespective of the sense voltage. The LT6105 is available in a 6-lead DFN and 8-lead MSOP package.ApplicationsHigh Side or Low Side Current SensingCurrent Monitoring on Positive or Negative Supply VoltagesBattery MonitoringFuse/MOSFET MonitoringAutomotivePower ManagementPortable Test/Measurement Systems |
LT610636V Low Cost High Side Current Sense in a SOT-23 | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 5 | Active | The LT6106 is a versatile high side current sense amplifier. Design flexibility is provided by the excellent device characteristics: 250μV maximum offset and 40nA maximum input bias current. Gain for each device is set by two resistors and allows for accuracy better than 1%.The LT6106 monitors current via the voltage across an external sense resistor (shunt resistor).
