ADVFC32Low Cost Monolithic Voltage-to-Frequency (V/F) Converter | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 2 | Active | The industry standard ADVFC32 is a low cost monolithic voltage-to-frequency (V/F) converter or frequency-to-voltage (F/V) converter with good linearity (0.01% max error at 10 kHz) and operating frequency up to 0.5 MHz. In the V/F configuration, positive or negative input voltages or currents can be converted to a proportional frequency using only a few external components. For F/V conversion, the same components are used with a simple biasing network to accommodate a wide range of input logic levels.TTL or CMOS compatibility is achieved in the V/F operating mode using an open collector frequency output. The pullup resistor can be connected to voltages up to 30 volts, or to +15 V or +5 V for conventional CMOS or TTL logic levels. This resistor should be chosen to limit current through the open collector output to 8 mA. A larger resistance can be used if driving a high impedance load.Input offset drift is only 3ppm of full scale per °C, and full-scale calibration drift is held to a maximum of 100 ppm/°C (ADVFC32BH) due to a low T.C. Zener diode. The ADVFC32 is available in commercial, industrial, and extended temperature grades. The commercial grade is packaged in a 14-pin plastic DIP while the two wider temperature range parts are packaged in hermetically sealed TO-100 cans. |
ADW54012I2C®CMOS 8 × 8 Unbuffered Analog Switch Array with Dual/Single Supplies | Evaluation Boards | 6 | Active | The ADG2188 is an analog cross point switch with an array size of 8 × 8. The switch array is arranged so that there are eight columns by eight rows, for a total of 64 switch channels. The array is bidirectional, and the rows and columns can be configured as either inputs or outputs. Each of the 64 switches can be addressed and configured through the I2C-compatible interface. Standard, full speed, and high speed (3.4 MHz) I2C interfaces are supported. Any simultaneous switch combination is allowed. An additional feature of the ADG2188 is that switches can be updated simultaneously, using the LDSW command. In addition, aRESEToption allows all of the switch channels to be reset/off. At power on, all switches are in the off condition. The device is packaged in a 32-lead, 5 mm × 5 mm LFCSP_WQ.ApplicationsAV switching in TVAutomotive infotainmentAV receiversCCTVUltrasound applicationsKVM switchingTelecom applicationsTest equipment/instrumentationPBX systems |
ADW70015Isolated Sigma-Delta Modulator | ADCs/DACs - Special Purpose | 1 | Active | The AD7401A is a second-order, sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) modulator that converts an analog input signal into a high speed, 1-bit data stream with on-chip digital isolation based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler®technology. The AD7401A operates from a 5 V power supply and accepts a pseudo-differential input signal of ±250 mV (±320 mV full scale). The analog input is continuously sampled by the analog modulator, eliminating the need for external sample-and-hold circuitry. The input information is contained in the output stream as a density of ones with a data rate of up to 20 MHz. The original information can be reconstructed with an appropriate digital filter. The serial I/O can use a 5 V or a 3.3 V supply (VDD2).The serial interface is digitally isolated. High speed CMOS, combined with Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler®technology, means the on-chip isolation provides outstanding performance characteristics, superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices. The device contains an on-chip reference. The AD7401A is offered in a 16-lead SOIC and has an operating temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.ApplicationsAC motor controlsShunt current monitoringData acquisition systemsAnalog-to-digital and opto-isolator replacements |
