MAX6241Low-Noise, Precision, +2.5V/+4.096V/+5V Voltage References | Voltage Reference | 21 | Active | The MAX6225/MAX6241/MAX6250 are low-noise, precision voltage references with extremely low 1ppm/°C temperature coefficients and excellent ±0.02% initial accuracy. These devices feature buried-zener technology for lowest noise performance. Load-regulation specifications are guaranteed for source and sink currents up to 15mA. Excellent line and load regulation and low output impedance at high frequency make them ideal for high-resolution data-conversion systems up to 16 bits. The MAX6225 is set for 2.500V output, the MAX6241 is set for 4.096V output, and the MAX6250 is set for 5.000V output. All three devices provide for the option of external trimming and noise reduction.ApplicationsA/D ConvertersAutomated Test Equipment (ATE)Digital VoltmetersHigh-Accuracy Industrial and Process ControlHigh-Accuracy Reference StandardHigh-Resolution Analog-to-DigitalPrecision Current Sources |

MAX630CMOS Micropower Step-Up Switching Regulator | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 8 | Active | Maxim's MAX630 and MAX4193 CMOS DC-DC regulators are designed for simple, efficient, minimum-size DC-DC converter circuits in the 5mW to 5W range. The MAX630 and MAX4193 provide all control and power handling functions in a compact 8-pin package: a 1.31V bandgap reference, an oscillator, a voltage comparator, and a 375mA N-channel output MOSFET. A comparator is also provided for low-battery detection.Operating current is only 70µA and is nearly independent of output switch current or duty cycle. A logic-level input shuts down the regulator to less than 1µA quiescent current. Low-current operation ensures high efficiency even in low-power battery-operated systems. The MAX630 and MAX4193 are compatible with most battery voltages, operating from 2.0V to 16.5V.The devices are pin compatible with the Raytheon bipolar circuits, RC4191/2/3, while providing significantly improved efficiency and low-voltage operation. Maxim also manufactures the MAX631, MAX632, and MAX633 DC-DC converters, which reduce the external component count in fixed-output 5V, 12V, and 15V circuits. See Table 2 at the end of this data sheet for a summary of other Maxim DC-DC converters.Applications+3V to +5V DC-DC Converters+5V to +15V DC-DC Converters5mW to 5W Switch-Mode Power Supplies9V Battery Life ExtensionHigh-Efficiency Battery-Powered DC-DC ConvertersUninterruptible 5V Power Supplies |

MAX6302+5V, Low-Power, µP Supervisory Circuits with Adjustable Reset/Watchdog | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 13 | Active | The MAX6301–MAX6304 low-power microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits provide maximum adjustability for reset and watchdog functions. The reset threshold can be adjusted to any voltage above 1.22V, using external resistors. In addition, the reset and watchdog timeout periods are adjustable using external capacitors. A watchdog select pin extends the watchdog timeout period to 500x. The reset function features immunity to power-supply transients. These four devices differ only in the structure of their reset outputs (see theSelector Guidein the full data sheet). The MAX6301–MAX6304 are available in the space-saving 8-pin µMAX® package, as well as 8-pin PDIP and SO packages.ApplicationsBattery-Powered Computers/ControllersComputers: Desktop, Workstation, ServerCritical µP MonitoringEmbedded ControllersIntelligent InstrumentsMedical EquipmentPortable EquipmentSet-Top Boxes |
