Description
General part information
ADL5375 Series
ADL5375-05-EVALZ is an ADL5375-05-EVALZ 400MHz to 6GHz broadband quadrature transmit modulator evaluation board. It is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4-based evaluation board. For normal operation, it requires a 5V/500 mA power supply. The 5V power supply should be connected to the clip leads labeled VPOS and GND. The LO and baseband inputs (which should be biased at 0.5V) are applied to edge-mounted SMA-type RF connectors. The ADL5375 output drives the ADL5320 driver amplifier with its output and is available at the SMA connector labeled AMP_OUT. The ADL5375's output can be accessed directly at the SMA connector labeled AMP_IN/SMA_OUT (remove R2 and install zero ohm in R1). The evaluation board also includes options to drive the LO differentially through a balun along with pads that can be used to implement a harmonic filter in the LO path.
