The 25CS640 is a 64 Kbit (8 Kbytes) Serial EEPROM utilizing the industry standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) compatible serial bus.

Microchip's 25CS SPI Serial EEPROM Family offers additional features such as Built-in Error Correction Code (ECC) logic, Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO) detection, 128-bit Serial Number and Enhanced Write Protection to optimized for use in consumer electronics, industrial, medical, and automotive applications where reliable and dependable nonvolatile memory storage is essential. The EEPROM is available in a variety of space-saving packaging options.
