General part information

HV MLCC X7R Series

The 1206GC331KAT1A is a surface-mount (SMT) high-voltage Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor with Ni and Sn plated terminations. High value, low leakage and small size are difficult parameters to obtain in capacitor for high voltage systems. AVX special high voltage MLC chip capacitor meets these performance characteristics and is designed for applications such as snubbers in high frequency power converters, resonators in SMPS and high voltage coupling/DC blocking. This high voltage chip design exhibits low ESRs at high frequencies. Larger physical sizes than normally encountered chip is used to make high voltage MLC chip products.
