Specifically designed to operate at 150 °C, the new 4 A T410H TRIAC provides an enhanced performance in terms of power loss and thermal dissipation. This allows the optimization of the heatsink size, leading to space and cost effectiveness when compared to electromechanical solutions. Based on ST logic level technology, the T410H offers an IGTlower than 10 mA and specified minimal commutation and high noise immunity levels valid up to the Tjmax.

Based on ST’s Snubberless / logic level technology providing high commutation performances, the T4 series is suitable for use on AC inductive loads. They are recommended for applications using universal motors, electro valves, kitchen aid equipments, power tools, and dishwashers.

Available either in through-hole and surface-mount packages, these devices are suitable for general purpose AC switching. They can be used as an ON/OFF function in applications such as static relays, heating regulation, induction motor starting circuits or for phase control operation in light dimmers and motor speed controllers, etc. The Snubberless versions (BTA, BTB08_xxxxW and T8 series) are specially recommended for use on inductive loads, thanks to their high commutation performance. Logic level versions are designed to interface directly with low power drivers such as Microcontrollers. By using an internal ceramic pad, the BTA series provide voltage insulated tab (rated at 2500 VRMS) in compliance with UL standards (file ref.: E81734).

Available in through-hole, the T8T series of Triacs can be used as on/off or phase angle control function in general purpose ac switching where high commutation capability is required. This series can be designed in many value sensitive appliances thanks to the parameters guidance provided in the following pages. Provides insulation rated at 2500 V rms (TO-220AB insulated package).

Based on the ST high temperature Snubberless technology, it offers higher specified turn off commutation and noise immunity levels up to the Tjmax. Snubberless is a trademark of STMicroelectronics. The T835H-8I safely optimizes the control of the motors and heaters loads for the most constraining environments of home appliances and industrial control. By using an internal ceramic pad, it provides a recognized voltage insulation, rated at 2500 VRMS.
