L9788Evaluation board for L9788 Multifunction IC for automotive EMS | Evaluation Boards | 3 | Active | The EVAL-L9788 is an evaluation board designed to evaluate L9788, a smart power device designed by STMicroelectronics in advanced BCD technology.
The L9788 is an integrated circuit designed for automotive engine management system. It is a device realized in ST BCD proprietary technology, able to provide the full set of power supplies and signal pre-processing peripherals needed to control a 4 cylindres internal combustion engine. All the device function configurations can be done via MSC configuration and jumper on the board.
All channels are protected against short circuit, over current and over-temperature conditions.
The board can be connected to the SPC563M-DISP, the Discovery+ board developed for the SPC563M64L. |

L98008 channels low side driver | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | Active | The L9800 is an 8-channel LS driver designed for automotive applications (LEDs and relays) and compatible with resistive, inductive and capacitive loads. The device offers advanced diagnostic and protection functionalities such as open load, overcurrent and overtemperature detections, short to GND. The eight output channels can be driven by SPI or by dedicated parallel inputs. Limp-home functionality is present. Daisy chain available (no constraint on SPI number of bits of devices in chain). The device is able to guarantee cranking scenario down to VBATT = 3 V and ensures very low-quiescent current under RESET.
The device is an 8-channel low-side power switch in a TFQFN24 4x4x0.9 package. It is specially designed to control relays and LEDs in automotive and industrial applications.
A serial peripheral interface (SPI) is used for control and diagnosis of the loads as well as of the device. For direct control and PWM there are two input pins (IN0 and IN1) available, connected to two outputs by default (OUT2 and OUT3). Additional or different outputs can be controlled by the same input pins if programmed by SPI. |
L9805ESuper smart power motor driver with 8-Bit MCU, RAM, EEPROM, ADC, WDG, Timers, PWM and H-bridge driver | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | Active | The L9805 is a Super Smart Power device suited to drive resistive and inductive loads under software control. It includes a ST7 microcontroller and some pheripherals. The microcontroller can execute the software contained in the program EPROM/ROM and drive, through dedicated registers, the power bridge.
The internal voltage regulators rated to the automotive environment, PWM modules, CAN transceiver and controller, ISO 9141 transceiver, timers, temperature sensor and the AtoD converter allow the device to realize by itself a complete application, in line with the most common mechatronic requirements. |
