EL5174550MHz Differential Twisted-Pair Drivers | Instrumentation, Op Amps, Buffer Amps | 2 | Obsolete | The EL5174 and EL5374 are single and triple high bandwidth amplifiers with an output in differential form. They are primarily targeted for applications such as driving twisted-pair lines in component video applications. The inputs can be in either single-ended or differential form but the outputs are always in differential form. On the EL5174 and EL5374, two feedback inputs provide the user with the ability to set the gain of each device (stable at minimum gain of one). For a fixed gain of two, please see the EL5173, EL5373 data sheet (FN7312). The output common mode level for each channel is set by the associated REF pin, which has a -3dB bandwidth of over 110MHz. Generally, these pins are grounded but can be tied to any voltage reference. All outputs are short circuit protected to withstand temporary overload condition. The EL5174 is available in a 8 Ld SOIC package and the EL5374 is available in a 28 Ld QSOP package. All are specified for operation over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range. |
EL5175550MHz Differential Line Receivers | Linear | 1 | Obsolete | The EL5175 and EL5375 are single and triple high bandwidth amplifiers designed to extract the difference signal from noisy environments. They are primarily targeted for applications such as receiving signals from twisted-pair lines or any application where common mode noise injection is likely to occur. The EL5175 and EL5375 are stable for a gain of one and requires two external resistors to set the voltage gain for each channel. The output common mode level is set by the reference pin (VREF), which has a -3dB bandwidth of over 450MHz. Generally, this pin is grounded but it can be tied to any voltage reference. The output can deliver a maximum of ±60mA and is short circuit protected to withstand a temporary overload condition. The EL5175 is available in the 8 Ld SOIC and 8 Ld MSOP packages and the EL5375 in the 24 Ld QSOP package. All are specified for operation over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range. |
EL5177550MHz Differential Twisted-Pair Driver | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 2 | Obsolete | The EL5177 is a high bandwidth amplifier with an output in differential form. It is primarily targeted for applications such as driving twisted-pair lines or any application where common mode injection is likely to occur. The input signal can be in either single-ended or differential form but the output is always in differential form. On the EL5177, two feedback inputs provide the user with the ability to set the device gain (stable at a minimum gain of 1). The output common mode level is set by the reference pin (REF), which has a -3dB bandwidth of 110MHz. Generally, this pin is grounded but it can be tied to any voltage reference. Both outputs (OUT+, OUT-) are short circuit protected to withstand temporary overload condition. The EL5177 is available in the 10 Ld MSOP package and is specified for operation over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range. See also EL5174 (EL5177 in 8 Ld MSOP). |

EL5202400MHz Slew Enhanced VFA | Linear | 2 | Obsolete | The EL5202 and EL5203 are dual, high-speed VFAs based on a CFA architecture. This gives the typical high slew rate benefits of a CFA family along with the stability and ease of use associated with the VFA type architecture. With slew rates of 3500V/µs, these devices enable the use of voltage feedback amplifiers in a space where the only alternative has been current feedback amplifiers. This family also includes single, dual, and triple versions with 750MHz bandwidths; please see the EL5104 through EL5304 data sheet for details. Both devices operate on single 5V or ±5V supplies from minimum supply current. The EL5202 also features an output enable function, which can be used to put the output in to a high-impedance mode. This allows the outputs of multiple amplifiers to be tied together for use in multiplexing applications. Typical applications for these families include cable driving, filtering, A/D and D/A buffering, multiplexing and summing within video, communications, and instrumentation designs. |
