This series features an ultra-low quiescent current of 2.5 µA. Each device contains a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, a PMOS power transistor, resistors for setting output voltage, current limit, and temperature limit protection circuits. The NCP562 series provides an enable pin for ON/OFF control. The NCP562 has been designed to be used with low cost ceramic capacitors and requires a minimum output capacitor of 0.1 microF. The device is housed in the micro-miniature SC82-AB surface mount package. Standard voltage versions are 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 2.7, 2.8, 3.0, 3.3, 3.5 and 5.0 V. Other voltages are available in 100 mV steps. Pb-free plating options are available. |
NCP565LDO Regulator, 1.5 A, High PSRR, with Fast Transient Resoponse | Linear Voltage Regulator Evaluation Boards | 9 | Active | The NCP565/NCV565 low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator provides 1.5 A in either fixed voltage options or in an adjustable voltage version from 7.7 V down to 0.9 V. The fast loop response and low dropout voltage make this regulator ideal for applications where low voltage and good load transient response are important. Device protection includes a current limit, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The NCP565 is packaged in D2PAK, DFN6 or SOT-223. |
NCP566LDO Regulator, 1.5 A, Ultra-High PSRR, with Fast Transient Resoponse | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 2 | Obsolete | The NCP566 low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator will provide 1.5 A at a fixed output voltage. The fast loop response and low dropout voltage make this regulator ideal for applications where low voltage and good load transient response are important. Device protection includes current limit, short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The NCP566 is packaged in a SOT-223. |
NCP5661LDO Regulator, 1 A, Low Noise, with Enable | PMIC | 11 | Active | The NCP5661 is a high performance, low dropout (LDO) linear voltage regulator designed for high power applications that require up to 1.0 A current. It is offered in both fixed and adjustable output versions. With output voltages as low as 0.9 V and ultra-fast response times for load transients, the NCP5661 also provides additional features such as Enable and Error Flag (for the fixed output version), increasing the utility of this device. A thermally robust, 5 pin DPAK or DFN 3.0 x 3.3 mm, combined with an architecture that offers low ground current (independent of load), provides for a superior high-current LDO solution. |
