MIC233503A Buck Regulator with HyperLight Load® | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | Active | The MIC23350 is a high-efficiency, low-voltage input, 3A continuous current synchronous step-down regulator. The Constant-ON-Time (COT)
control architecture with HyperLight Load™ provides very high efficiency at
light loads, while still having ultra-fast transient response.
The MIC23350 output voltage is set by two VSEL (Voltage Selection) pins, between nine different values. This method eliminates the need for an external feedback resistor divider and improves the output voltage setting accuracy.
The 2.4V to 5.5V input voltage
range, low shutdown and quiescent currents make the MIC23350 ideal for
single-cell Li-Ion battery-powered applications. The 100% duty cycle capability
provides low dropout operation, extending operating range in portable systems.
The MIC23350 pinout is
compatible with the MIC23356 I2C-based programmable regulator version, such
that applications can be easily converted. An open-drain Power Good output is
provided to indicate when the output voltage is within 9% of regulation and
facilitates the interface with an MCU, or power sequencing. If set in shutdown
(EN=GND), the MIC23350 typically draws 1.5 µA, while the output is discharged
through 10W pull-down.
The MIC23350 is available in a
thermally efficient, 16 Lead 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm x 0.55 mm thin FTQFN package, with
an operating junction temperature range from –40°C to +125°C. |
MIC233563A Buck Regulator with HyperLight Load® & I2C | Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators | 3 | Active | The MIC23656 is a high-efficiency, low-voltage input, 3A
peak current synchronous step-down regulator. The Constant-ON-Time (COT)
control architecture with HyperLight Load™ provides very high efficiency at
light loads, while still having ultra-fast transient response.
The I2C interface allows programming the output voltage
between 0.6V and 1.28V, with 5 mV resolution or between 0.6V and 3.84V, with 10
mV and 20 mV resolution. Three different default voltage options (0.6V, 0.9V
and 1.0V) are provided so that the application can be started with a safe
voltage level and then moved to high performance modes under I2C
control.
An open-drain Power Good output facilitates output
voltage monitoring and sequencing. If set in shutdown (EN = GND), the MIC23656
typically draws 1.5 µA, while the output is discharged through 10W pull-down (if the output
discharge feature is enabled).
The MIC23356 pinout is compatible with the MIC23350, so
that applications can be easily converted.
The 2.4V to 5.5V input voltage range, low shutdown and
quiescent currents make the MIC23356 ideal for single-cell Li-Ion
battery-powered applications. The 100% duty cycle capability provides low
dropout operation, extending operating range in portable systems.
The MIC23356 is available in a thermally efficient,
16-Lead 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm x 0.55 mm thin FTQFN package, with an operating
junction temperature range from -40°C to +125°C |

MIC23450Triple 3MHz 2A HyperLight Load® Synchronous Buck Regulator w/Power Good | Evaluation Boards | 3 | Active | The MIC23450 is a high-efficiency, 3MHz, triple 2A, synchronous buck regulator with HyperLight Load® mode. HyperLight Load® provides very-high efficiency at light loads and ultra-fast transient response which is perfectly suited for supplying processor core voltages. An additional benefit of this proprietary architecture is very low output ripple voltage throughout the entire load range with the use of small output capacitors. The 5mm x 5mm QFN package saves board space and requires only five external components for each channel.
The MIC23450 is designed for use with a very small inductor, down to 0.47µH, and an output capacitor as small as 2.2µF that enables a total solution size, less than 1mm height.
The MIC23450 has a very-low quiescent current of 23µA each channel and achieves as high as 81% efficiency at 1mA. At higher loads, the MIC23450 provides a constant switching frequency around 3MHz while achieving peak efficiencies up to 93%. |
MIC234513MHz, 2A Triple Synchronous Buck Regulators w | Power Management (PMIC) | 1 | Active | The MIC23451 is a high-efficiency, 3MHz, triple 2A, synchronous buck regulator with HyperLight Load® mode. HyperLight Load provides very-high efficiency at light loads and ultra-fast transient response, which is ideal for supplying processor core voltages. An additional benefit of this proprietary architecture is very low output ripple voltage throughout the entire load range with the use of small output capacitors. The 4mm x 4mm QFN package saves board space and requires only five external components for each channel.
The MIC23451 is designed for use with a very small inductor, down to 0.47µH, and an output capacitor as small as 2.2µF that enables a total solution size that is less than 1mm height.
The MIC23451 has a very-low quiescent current of 24µA each channel and achieves as high as 81% efficiency at 1mA. At higher loads, the MIC23451 provides a constant switching frequency around 3MHz while achieving peak efficiencies up to 93%.
The MIC23451 is available in a 26-pin 4mm x 4mm QFN package with an operating junction temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. |
