HV9150High Voltage Output Hysteretic Mode Step Up DC/DC Controller | DC DC Switching Controllers | 1 | Active | The HV9150 is a high output voltage hysteretic mode step up DC/DC controller that has both a built-in charge pump converter and a linear regulator for a wide range of input voltage. The charge pump converter mode is ideal for battery powered applications. The internal converter can provide a minimum of 5.0V gate driver output voltage (at VIN = 2.7V) to the external N-channel MOSFET. The range of 2.7V to 4.5V input supply voltage is ideal for battery powered applications such as portable electronics equipment. The internal linear regulator is selected when a higher supply voltage rail is available in the system.
A feedback return ground path switch is also integrated in the device to minimize the quiescent current during the controller shutdown. This feature provides power savings for energy critical applications.
In addition, a built-in timer is available to protect the internal circuit and to help dissipate the energy from the external high voltage storage capacitor. This device is designed for systems requiring high voltage and low current applications such as MEMS devices. |
HV96001Secondary Micro-Interface LED Controller with | Power Management (PMIC) | 2 | Active | The HV96001 LED driver targets offline lighting applications requiring wide dimming capability. The device is capable of linear dimming and PWM dimming, with the PWM dimming capable of flicker-free dimming down to 0.1% level and lower.
The HV96001 is specifically adapted to LED driver designs that accommodate a wide range of the LED load voltage. The device adjusts the output voltage of the AC to DC conversion stage for maintaining a high conversion efficiency over a wide range of the LED load voltage. It also maintains a precise control over the LED current amplitude, thereby maintaining the consistent color temperature.
The adaptability of the device to wide range PWM dimming allows for a stable control of the LED current waveform for PWM dimming pulse widths down to
250 ns.
The HV96001 driver IC adjusts the flyback converter output voltage such that the boost converter (BC) operates with a small difference between the boost converter input and output voltage, also referred to as the headroom voltage. Operating the boost converter with a small headroom voltage, or, more or less equivalent, operating with a small voltage step-up ratio allows the boost converter to be physically small and operate at a higher efficiency.
The HV96001 includes two feedback regulators, the flyback regulator for control of the flyback output voltage and the boost regulator for control of the LED current amplitude. An optocoupler driver circuit drives the optocoupler, which in turn provides a control signal for driving the control input of the flyback converter. |

HV9801ASwitch-Dimmable LED Driver | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | Active | The HV9801A LED driver is ideally suited for switch dimmable applications using LED bulbs and fixtures.
Through switch dimming, the lamp can be adjusted to four discrete brightness levels by rapid cycling of the light switch. The brightness levels are traversed in up and down manner. Brightness resumes at the highest level when power is removed for more than a second.
The device can be powered directly from rectified AC through an internal VDD regulator rated at 450V. |
HV9803BLED Driver IC w/ Average-Mode Constant Current Control | Power Management (PMIC) | 2 | Active | The HV9803B is an open loop average-mode current control LED driver IC operating in a constant off-time mode. The IC features ±2% current accuracy, tight line and load regulation of the LED current without any need for loop compensation or high-side current sensing. Its auto-zero circuit cancels the effect of both the input offset voltage and the propagation delay in the current sense comparator.
The HV9803B can be powered from a 7.0 to 16V supply. The IC features fast PWM dimming response. The linear dimming input LD can accept a reference voltage from 0 to 3.0V.
The IC is equipped with a current limit comparator for hiccup-mode output short circuit protection. It also features a programmable input under-voltage shutdown. |

HV98100Non-Dimmable Off-Line LED Driver with Low Total Harmonic Distortions | LED Drivers | 1 | Active | The
HV98100/HV98101 LED driver Integrated Circuit (IC) is an off-line, high-power
factor, buck-boost controller targeted at general LED lighting products, such
as LED lamps and LED lighting fixtures with a maximum power rating of about
15W. The IC is targeted at designs at single
line voltages such as 110VAC or 230VAC.
The
HV98100/HV98101 uses a unique control scheme to achieve high-power factor and
low THD simultaneously under all line and load conditions, while maximizing
efficiency utilizing valley switching. The average LED current is also
controlled in a closed-loop manner to achieve high-LED accuracy.
Other unique features of the ICs are the bootstrap of the IC supply voltage from the output, as well as the unique valley-sensing scheme which allow the use of a standard off-the-shelf inductor to minimize the overall system cost. |

HV9861ALED Driver w/ Average-Mode Constant Current Control | Power Management (PMIC) | 2 | Active | The HV9861A is a patented, average-mode, constant current control LED driver IC operating in a constant off-time mode. Unlike the HV9910B, this control IC does not produce a peak-to-average error, and therefore greatly improves the accuracy, line and load regulation of the LED current without any need for loop compensation or high-side current sensing. The output LED current accuracy is ±3%.
The IC is equipped with a current limit comparator for hiccup-mode output short circuit protection. Internal over-temperature protection is provided. The internally regulated voltage (VDD) for the HV9861A is 7.5V.
The IC can be powered from a 15 - 450V supply. A PWM dimming input is provided that accepts an external control TTL-compatible signal. The output current can be programmed by an internal 270mV reference, or controlled externally through a 0 - 1.5V dimming input.
The IC is pin-to-pin compatible with the HV9910B and HV9961, and can be used as a drop-in replacement for many applications to improve the LED current accuracy and regulation. |
