AD880412 Channel, 8-Bit TrimDACs with Power Shutdown & Separate VREFL Input | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 6 | Active | The 12-channelAD8802/ AD8804 provides independent digitally-controllable voltage outputs in a compact 20-lead package. This potentiometer divider TrimDAC( allows replacement of the mechanical trimmer function in new designs. The AD8802/ AD8804 is ideal for dc voltage adjustment applications.Easily programmed by serial interfaced microcontroller ports, the AD8802 with its midscale preset is ideal for potentiometer replacement where adjustments start at a nominal value. Applications such as gain control of video amplifiers, voltage controlled frequencies and bandwidths in video equipment, geometric correction and automatic adjustment in CRT computer graphic displays are a few of the many applications ideally suited for these parts. The AD8804 provides independent control of both the top and bottom end of the potentiometer divider allowing a separate zero-scale voltage setting determined by the VREFLpin. This is helpful for maximizing the resolution of devices with a limited allowable voltage control range.Internally the AD8802 / AD8804 contains 12 voltage-output digital-to-analog converters, sharing a common reference-voltage input. Each DAC has its own DAC latch that holds its output state. These DAC latches are updated from an internal serial-to-parallel shift register that is loaded from a standard 3-wire serial input digital interface. The serial-data-input word is decoded where the first 4 bits determine the address of the DAC latches to be loaded with the last 8 bits of data. The AD8802 / AD8804 consumes only 10 µA from 5 V power supplies. In addition, in shutdown mode reference input current consumption is also reduced to 10 µA while saving the DAC latch settings for use after return to normal operation. The AD8802 / AD8804 is available in the 20-pin plastic DIP, the SOIC-20 surface mount package, and the 1 mm thin TSSOP-20 package.APPLICATIONSAutomatic AdjustmentTrimmer ReplacementVideo and Audio Equipment Gain and Offset AdjustmentPortable and Battery Operated Equipment |

AD905110-Bit, 60 MSPS A/D Converter | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 4 | Active | The AD9051 is a complete 10-bit monolithic sampling analog-to- digital converter (ADC) with an onboard track-and-hold and reference. The unit is designed for low cost, high performance applications and requires only +5 V and an encode clock to achieve 60 MSPS sample rates with 10-bit resolution. The encode clock is TTL compatible and the digital outputs are CMOS; both can operate with 5 V/3 V logic. The two-step architecture used in the AD9051 is optimized to provide the best dynamic performance available while maintaining low power consumption.A 2.5 V reference is included onboard, or the user can provide an external reference voltage for gain control or matching of multiple devices. Fabricated on a state-of-the-art BiCMOS process, the AD9051 is packaged in a space saving surface mount package (SSOP)and is specified over the industrial temperature range (–40 °C to +85 °C).APPLICATIONSMedical ImagingDigital CommunicationsProfessional VideoInstrumentationSet-Top Box |

AD90578-Bit, 40/60/80 MSPS A/D Converter | Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) | 5 | Active | The AD9057 is an 8-bit monolithic analog-to-digital converter optimized for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. With a 40 MSPS, 60 MSPS or 80 MSPS encode rates capability and full-power analog bandwidth of 120 MHz, the component is ideal for applications requiring excellent dynamic performance. To minimize system cost and power dissipation, the AD9057 includes an internal +2.5 V reference and a track-and-hold circuit. The user must provide only a +5 V power supply and an encode clock. No external reference or driver components are required for many applications. The AD9057's encode input is TTL/CMOS compatible and the 8-bit digital outputs can be operated from +5 V or +3 V supplies. A power-down function may be exercised to bring total consumption to < 10 mW. In power-down mode the digital outputs are driven to a high impedance state.Fabricated on an advanced BiCMOS process, the AD9057 is available in a space saving 20-lead surface mount plastic package (20 SSOP) and is specified over the industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range.Customers desiring multichannel digitization may consider the AD9059, a dual 8-bit, 60 MSPS monolithic based on the AD9057 ADC core. The AD9059 is available in a 28-lead surface mount plastic package (28 SSOP) and is specified over the industrial temperature range.APPLICATIONSDigital Communications (QAM Demodulators)RGB and YC/Composite Video ProcessingDigital Data Storage Read ChannelsMedical ImagingDigital Instrumentation |
AD9059Dual 8-Bit, 60 MSPS A/D Converter | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 3 | Active | The AD9059 is a dual 8-bit monolithic analog-to-digital converter optimized for low cost, low power, small size, and ease of use. With a 60 MSPS encode rate capability and full-power analog bandwidth of 120 MHz typical, the component is ideal for applications requiring multiple ADCs with excellent dynamic performance. To minimize system cost and power dissipation, the AD9059 includes an internal +2.5 V reference and dual track-and-hold circuits. The ADC requires only a +5 V power supply and an encode clock. No external reference or driver components are required for many applications. The AD9059's single encode input is TTL/CMOS compatible and simultaneously controls both internal ADC channels. The parallel 8-bit digital outputs can be operated from +5 V or +3 V supplies. A power-down function may be exercised to bring total consumption to < 12 mW when ADC data is not required for lengthy periods of time. In power-down mode the digital outputs are driven to a high impedance state.Fabricated on an advanced BiCMOS process, the AD9059 is available in a space saving 28-lead surface mount plastic package (28 SSOP) and is specified over the industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range.Customers desiring single channel digitization may consider the AD9057, a single 8-bit, 60 MSPS monolithic based on the AD9059 ADC core. The AD9057 is available in a 20-lead surface mount plastic package (20 SSOP) and is specified over the industrial temperature range. |
