LT30733A, Ultra-Low Noise, High PSRR, 45mV Dropout Ultra-Fast Linear Regulator | Voltage Regulators - Linear, Low Drop Out (LDO) Regulators | 2 | Active | The LT3073 is a low voltage, ultra-low noise, and ultra-fast transient response linear regulator. The device supplies up to 3A with a typical dropout voltage of 45mV. A 4.7μF reference bypass capacitor decreases output voltage noise to 1.2μVRMS. The wide bandwidth and high PSRR permit the use of small ceramic capacitors, saving bulk capacitance and cost. The LT3073 is ideal for powering high-performance FPGAs, data converters, RF, and noise-sensitive signal chain applications. The output voltage is digitally selectable in 50mV increments from 0.5V to 1.2V, 100mV increments from 1.2V to 1.8V, and discrete levels at 2V, 2.5V, 3V, 3.3V, and 4.2V. The LT3073’s unity-gain operation provides virtually constant output noise, PSRR, bandwidth, and load regulation independent of the programmed output voltage. In addition, the LT3073 incorporates a unique tracking feature (VIOC) to control the upstream switching regulator to maintain a constant voltage across the LT3073 and minimize power dissipation.A precision current monitor provides power monitoring for system energy management, while precision current limiting allows users to minimize input power supply size and cost. Built-in protection includes UVLO, internal current limit, and thermal shutdown with hysteresis. The LT3073 is available in a compact 22-lead (3mm X 4mm) LQFN package (Laminate package with QFN footprint).APPLICATIONSRF Power Supplies: PLLs, VCOs, Mixers, LNAs, PAsHigh Speed/High Precision Data ConvertersLow Noise InstrumentationPost-Regulator for Switching SuppliesFPGA and DSP Power SuppliesMedical Applications |
LT30745.5V, 3A Ultralow Noise, High PSRR, 45mV Dropout Linear Regulator with PMBus | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 2 | Active | The LT3074 is a low voltage, ultralow noise, and ultrafast transient response linear regulator with a PMBus serial interface. The LT3074 is supported by the LTPowerPlay software development tool with a graphical user interface (GUI).The LT3074 sources a 100μA precision reference current to the LT3074’s SETRES pin. Placing a resistor from this SETRES pin to GND sets the output voltage. The LT3074’s unity-gain operation provides virtually constant output noise, PSRR, bandwidth and load regulation, independent of the programmed output voltage. Additionally, the LT3074 incorporates a unique tracking feature (VIOC) to control the upstream switching regulator to maintain a constant voltage across the LT3074, and hence minimize power dissipation. The PMBus control allows to set the output current limit from 1A to 6.4A in discrete steps of 0.05A. The PMBus Telemetry feature provides information regarding the output voltage and current, input voltage, bias voltage and die temperature. The LT3074 features a CLKDIS pin to control the internal clock. Pulling this pin to BIAS disables the internal clocks to put LT3074 in the "quiet mode". The LT3074 is available in a compact 22 lead (3mm × 4mm) LQFN package (laminate package with QFN footprint).APPLICATIONSRF Power Supplies: PLLs, VCOs, Mixers, LNAs, PAsHigh Speed/High Precision Data ConvertersLow Noise InstrumentationPost-Regulator for Switching SuppliesFPGA and DSP Power SuppliesMedical Applications |

LT3080Parallelable 1.1A Adjustable Single Resistor Low Dropout Regulator | PMIC | 34 | Active | The LT3080 is a 1.1A low dropout linear regulator that can be paralleled to increase output current or spread heat in surface mounted boards. Architected as a precision current source and voltage follower allows this new regulator to be used in many applications requiring high current, adjustability to zero, and no heat sink. Also the device brings out the collector of the pass transistor to allow low dropout operation —down to 350 millivolts— when used with multiple supplies.A key feature of the LT3080 is the capability to supply a wide output voltage range. By using a reference current through a single resistor, the output voltage is programmed to any level between zero and 36V. The LT3080 is stable with 2.2μF of capacitance on the output, and the IC uses small ceramic capacitors that do not require additional ESR as is common with other regulators.Internal protection circuitry includes current limiting and thermal limiting. The LT3080 regulator is offered in the 8-lead MSOP (with an exposed pad for better thermal characteristics), a 3mm × 3mm DFN, 5-lead DD-Pak, TO-220 and a simple-to-use 3-lead SOT-223 version.FeaturesLT3080-LT3080-1Can parallel without additional external resistanceApplicationsHigh Current All Surface Mount SupplyHigh Efficiency Linear RegulatorPost Regulator for Switching SuppliesLow Parts Count Variable Voltage SupplyLow Output Voltage Power Supplies |
