LTC6102Precision Zero Drift Current Sense Amplifier | Amplifiers | 24 | Active | The LTC6102/LTC6102HV are versatile, high voltage, highside current sense amplifiers. Their high supply voltage rating allows their use in many high side applications, while the low drift and offset ensure accuracy across a wide range of operating conditions. The LTC6102-1 is a version of the LTC6102 that includes a low power disable mode to conserve system standby power. The LTC6102/LTC6102HV monitor current via the voltage across an external sense resistor (shunt resistor). Internal circuitry converts input voltage to output current, allowing a small sense signal on a large common mode voltage to be translated to a ground-referred signal. Low DC offset allows the use of very low shunt resistor values and large gain-setting resistors. As a result, power loss in the shunt is reduced. The wide operating supply and high accuracy make the LTC6102 ideal for a large array of applications, from automotive, to industrial and power management. A maximum input sense voltage of 2V allows a wide range of currents and voltages to be monitored. Fast response makes the LTC6102 the perfect choice for load current warnings and shutoff protection control. All versions of the LTC6102 are available in 8-lead MSOP and 3mm × 3mm DFN packages.ApplicationsCurrent Shunt MeasurementBattery MonitoringRemote SensingLoad ProtectionMotor ControlAutomotive Controls |
LTC6103Dual High Voltage, High Side Current Sense Amplifier | Instrumentation, Op Amps, Buffer Amps | 3 | Active | The LTC6103 is a versatile, high voltage, high side, dual current sense amplifier. The two internal amplifiers are independent except that they share the same V–terminal. Design flexibility is provided by the excellent device characteristics: 450µV maximum offset, and only 275µA of current consumption (typical at 12V) for each amplifier. The LTC6103 operates on supplies from 4V to 60V.The LTC6103 monitors current via the voltage across an external sense resistor (shunt resistor). Internal circuitry converts input voltage to output current, allowing for a small sense signal on a high common mode voltage to be translated into a ground referenced signal. Low DC offset allows the use of a small shunt resistor and large gain-setting resistors. As a result, power loss in the shunt is minimal. The wide operating supply range and high accuracy make the LTC6103 ideal for an extensive variety of applications from automotive to industrial and power management. The fast response makes the LTC6103 the perfect choice for load current warnings and shutoff protection control. With very low supply current, the LTC6103 is suitable for power sensitive applications. The LTC6103 is available in an 8-lead MSOP package.ApplicationsCurrent Shunt MeasurementBattery MonitoringRemote SensingPower ManagementHigh Voltage Level Translator |
LTC6104High Voltage, High Side, Bi-Directional Current Sense Amplifier | Linear | 3 | Active | The LTC6104 is a versatile, high voltage, high side, bidirectional current sense amplifier. Design flexibility is provided by the excellent device characteristics: ±450µV maximum offset and only 520µA of current consumption (typical at 12V). The LTC6104 operates on supplies from 4V to 60V.The LTC6104 monitors bi-directional current via the voltage across an external sense resistor (shunt resistor). This sense voltage is then translated into a ground referenced signal. Gain is set with three external resistors and can be separately configured for both directions. Low DC offset allows the use of a small shunt resistor and large gain-setting resistors. As a result, power loss in the shunt is minimal. The wide operating supply range and high accuracy make the LTC6104 ideal for a wide variety of automotive, industrial and power management applications. A maximum input sense voltage of 500mV allows a wide range of currents to be monitored. The fast response makes the LTC6104 the perfect choice for load current warnings and shutoff protection control. With very low supply current, the LTC6104 is suitable for power sensitive applications. The LTC6104 is available in an 8-lead MSOP package.ApplicationsCurrent Shunt MeasurementBattery MonitoringRemote SensingPower Management |
LTC6115High Voltage High Side Current and Voltage Sense | Instrumentation, Op Amps, Buffer Amps | 3 | Active | The LTC6115 is a versatile combination of a high voltage, high side current sense amplifier and a voltage sense amplifier. Design flexibility is provided by the excellent device characteristics: ±500µV maximum offset voltage for current sense and maximum ±0.15% voltage sense total gain error. The current sensing part of the LTC6115 monitors current by sensing the voltage across an external sense resistor. The sensed voltage is converted to an output current which can then be translated to a voltage by an external resistor, ROUT. Due to its fast response, it is a perfect choice for load current warning and shut-off protection control. The LTC6115 also includes an internal 1MΩ resistor divider and a precision voltage amplifier for accurate voltage monitoring. The resistor attenuation of 40 enables sensing of up to 100V on the VINpin, making it suitable for precision high voltage monitoring in telecommunications, industrial and automotive applications. The full-scale output voltage can be configured by external gain resistors to maximize use of the amplifier’s rail-to-rail output. The LTC6115 is available in a 12-lead MSOP package.ApplicationsCurrent Shunt MeasurementBattery MonitoringPower ManagementAutomotive Sensing and ControlIndustrial Monitoring |
LTC62261nV/√Hz 420MHz GBW, 180V/µs, Low Distortion Rail-to-Rail Output Op Amps | Evaluation Boards | 13 | Active | The LTC6226 are very fast, low noise rail-to-rail output, unity gain stable single/dual op amps, with a gainbandwidth product of 420MHz and a slew rate of 180V/μs. The low input referred voltage noise of only 1nV/√Hz and low distortion of less than –90dBCfor 4VP-Psignals at 1MHz makes them ideal for applications that require high dynamic range and deal with very fast signals, such as driving A/D converters. The combination of low offset, low offset drift, high gain (139dB) and high CMRR (114dB) make these excellent devices for high dynamic range applications. The LTC6226 family maintains excellent performance for supply voltages of 2.8V to 11.75V and the devices are fully specified at supplies of 3V, 5V and 10V (±5V).With an input range extending to the negative rail and rail-to-rail output stage, the operational amplifier can accommodate wide swinging signals, and true single supply operation. For space constrained applications, the amplifiers come in 2mm × 2mm DFN (single) and 3mm × 3mm DFN (dual) packages. The devices are also available in 8-lead SOIC,TSOT-23 and MS8E.These amplifiers can be used as replacements for many high speed op amps to improve speed, noise and dynamic range.ApplicationsOptical Electronics: Fast AC-Coupled Transimpedance AmplifiersDriving High Dynamic Range A/D ConvertersActive FiltersVideo AmplifiersLow Voltage Low Distortion Amplification |
