The SAMA5D29-TA100 is a high-performance, low-power Arm Cortex-A5 CPU-based embedded microprocessor (MPU) running up to 500 MHz, with an integrated TA100 Trust Anchor. The device supports multiple memories such as DDR2, DDR3L, LPDDR2, LPDDR3, and QSPI and e.MMC Flash. The device integrates powerful peripherals for connectivity and user interface applications (including two ISO-compliant CAN-FD interfaces), and offers advanced security functions (Arm TrustZone® , tamper detection, secure data storage, secure boot, etc.), as well as high-performance crypto accelerators AES, SHA and TRNG. The SAMA5D29-TA100 is qualified for extended industrial temperature range operation (-40°C to 105°C external temperature) and is AEC-Q100 grade 2 qualified. The SAMA5D2 series is supported with free Mainline Linux® distributions, MPLAB X IDE, MPLAB Harmony v3 and bare metal C examples.
