The ADN3000 is a complete high-speed optical receiver featuring a proprietary large-area germanium PIN photodiode integrated with a transimpedance amplifier (TIA). The integration of the photodiode eliminates bond wires between the detector and TIA that provides guaranteed performance and improved manufacturing reliability. The part supports data rates of up to 11 Gb/s and a wide range of operating wavelengths from 850 nm to 1550 nm.The ADN3000 also features an average power loop and an on-chip power monitor circuit that generates a voltage proportional to the average photodiode current. Typical power consumption is 65 mW from a single 3.3 V supply. In saturated output, the signal has a typical differential amplitude of 270 mV p-p (240 mV p-p for ADN3000-06).The ADN3000 is available in die form, and is rated for operation over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.ApplicationsADN3000-06Optical receivers up to 6 Gb/s6G CPRI, OBSAI, and LTE receiversReceiver optical subassemblies (ROSA)ADN3000-11Ethernet, Sonet/SDH and Fiber Channel receivers up to 11 Gb/sReceiver optical subassemblies (ROSA)
