The AD9786 is the 16-bit member of the latest high-performanceTxDAC+®product family. Designed specifically to address multicarrier communications architectures, it achieves true 16-bit linearity and breakthrough noise and intermodulation distortion performance. This record-breaking performance allows synthesis of multicarrier transmit signals at intermediate frequencies (IFs) of 100 to 300 MHz and beyond. As a result, system designers can eliminate an up-conversion stage and reduce overall parts count, ultimately lowering total system cost.
