Description

General part information

ISL54222A Series

The ISL54222A is a single-supply, dual 2:1 multiplexer that operates on a supply voltage ranging from 1.8V to 3.3V. It features two Single Pole/Double Throw (SPDT) switches configured as a Double Pole/Double Throw (DPDT) switch. This device is designed for switching or routing USB high-speed and full-speed signals in portable, battery-powered products.

The 4.4Ω switches support rail-to-rail operation and are specifically optimized to pass USB full-speed data signals (0V to 3.3V) and USB high-speed data signals (0V to 400mV) with a single supply as low as 1.8V. With high bandwidth and low capacitance, the switches ensure minimal distortion when transmitting USB high-speed data signals.

The digital logic inputs are compatible with 1.8V logic levels when the device is powered by a 1.8V to 3.3V supply. Additionally, the ISL54222A includes an output enable pin that can disable all switches, placing the device in a low-power state.
