Description

General part information

TPS65176 Series

The TPS65176 provides a simple and economic power supply solution for a wide variety of LCD bias applications. A buck converter generates a logic supply for the timing controller (T-CON) while a boost converter generates the AVDDvoltage to power the Source Driver ICs. Two regulated charge pump controllers generate VGONand VGOFFwith very few external components to turn on and off the display transistors. The sequencing of the supplies at power on is fully controllable by the user. The TPS65176 also includes various protection mechanisms to ensure the safe operation of the LCD panels.
