Description
General part information
NCP45496 Series
The NCP45496 is a high-performance monolithic IC that monitors the power on two high-voltage power supplies simultaneously. The voltage and current on each bus are measured and converted to a power signal that is output as a high-accuracy current. The power of multiple busses may be summed by connecting the power current signals (IPWRx). The power signal is also sampled by an internal ADC and made available over an SVID bus. The NCP45496 is also equipped with a low-latency open-drain ALARM signal that is produced by comparing the power of each bus to its individual threshold level, programmable over the SVID bus. If either bus exceeds the programmed power threshold, the low-latency ALARM signal will be pulled low.
