CAT6220 Series
The CAT6220 is a 300 mA CMOS low dropout regulator whose output voltage is user adjustable that provides fast response time during load current and line voltage changes.With 1 µA of shutdown current, an internal no-load operating current of only 10 µA, and full-load operating current of 40 µA, the CAT6220 is ideal for battery-operated devices with supply voltages from 2.3 V to 6.5 V.The CAT6220 offers 1% initial accuracy and low dropout voltage, 270 mV typical at 300 mA. Stable operation is provided with a small value ceramic capacitor, reducing required board space and component cost.Other features include current limit and thermal protection.The device is available in the low profile (1 mm max height) TSOT-23-5 and 2 mm x 2 mm TDFN-6 packages.
