General part information

NCV5705B Series

The NCV5705B is a high−current, high−performance stand−alone IGBT driver for high power automotive applications that include PTC heaters, traction inverters, high voltage DC-DC and other auxiliary subsystems. The device offers a cost−effective solution by eliminating external output buffer. Device’s protection features include accurate Under−voltage−lockout (UVLO), desaturation protection (DESAT) and Active open-drain FAULT output. The driver also features an accurate 5.0 V output. The driver is designed to accommodate a wide voltage range of bias supplies including unipolar and even bipolar voltages. NCV5705B is available in 8−pin SOIC package.
