Description

General part information

MC74LCX258 Series

The MC74LCX258 is a high performance, quad 2-input inverting multiplexer with 3-state outputs operating from a 2.3 to 3.6V supply. Highimpedance TTL compatible inputs significantly reduce current loading toinput drivers while TTL compatible outputs offer improved switching noise performance. A VIspecification of 5.5V allows MC74LCX258 inputs to be safely driven from 5V devices.Four bits of data from two sources can be selected using the Select input. The four outputs present the selected data in the inverted form. The outputs may be switched to a high impedance state by placing a logic HIGH on the Output Enable (OEbar) input. Current drive capability is 24mA at the outputs.
