Description
General part information
KMB-001 Series
KMB-001LEVALZ is an LVDS interface motherboard containing a USB interface, an FPGA and SRAM. The motherboard serves as the interface between the host PC and the ADC daughter card. The FPGA accepts output data from the ADC and buffers it in the SRAMs before passing it to the PC at a lower speed for post-processing. The motherboard interfaces to each of the individual daughter cards with a common connector design. It allows users to evaluate the portfolio of low power, 8bit to 16bit, high performance analog to digital converters (ADC). These converters run at sampling rates of 40MSPS to 500MSPS. This motherboard is used with ISLAxx, KAD27xx, KDC55XX, & KDC56XX daughter cards.
