General part information

UTPCH2 Series

The UTPCH2Y is a Cat5e UTP Patch Cord with RJ45 modular plug to RJ45 modular plug. It is constructed of 24AWG unshielded twisted pair stranded copper cable with a high performance modular plug at each end. All patch cords shall be compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes. UTP flexible stranded 24AWG copper cable with a nominal diameter of 0.215-inch allows for high density installations and superior panel cable management. TX5e™ UTP patch cords are a component of the TX5500™ copper cabling system. This end-to-end system provides Gigabit Ethernet performance with usable bandwidth beyond 100MHz. With certified performance to the ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Cat5e and ISO 11801 class D edition 2.1 standards, this system will support Ethernet 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), 155Mbps ATM, 622Mbps ATM, token ring 4/16, voice/data systems and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications.
