Description
General part information
RP40-FR Series
The RP40-2424DFR/N from Recom Power is a 40W, 2" x 1" regulated dual output DC to DC converter. This DC to DC converter is especially designed for railway applications. It has wide 4:1 input voltage range, six sided continuous shield, 30mAp-p input reflected ripple current, 60ms (power-up) and 60ms (remote ON/OFF) start-up time. Internal operating frequency is 250KHz and output voltage accuracy is ±1%. It is certified by UL60950-1 AM2, CE, cRJus E196683, CSA C22.2 number 60950-1-07 and EN50155 standards. The device also features continuous, automatic recovery short circuit protection (SCP), overvoltage protection, overload protection and overtemperature protection. The converter has minimum isolation resistance of 1Gohm at 500VDC, maximum isolation capacitance of 1500pF, line voltage regulation of ±0.2% (low line to high line at full load) and transient response recovery time of 250μs. It is made of copper alloy (CuZn33) case, FR4 PCB base and silicone (UL94V-0) potting.
