HSC-715QR is a QR series hardline strip and core tool kit for QR715 cable. It is designed to core and strip 0.715" diameter Quantum Reach cables such as QR715 cable and other similar sized cables. This kit is used by construction crews, cable splicers, and maintenance technicians on hardline cables whether aerial or underground and for distribution or drop applications. It consisting of a jacket stripping tool and a HSC-QR series coring tool. This coring and stripping tool is specifically designed to work on Commscope Quantum Reach cables. The coring tool and jacket stripper are designed to allow the jacket stripper to be stored on the coring tool for convenience. It is a rugged tool with a heavy-duty aluminum body and special ratcheting handle for comfort. The stripping and coring blades are high carbon steel and heat treated for long life. The tool is designed to be easily used with a drill by simply removing the T handle.
