LTM4659 Series
The LTM®4659 is a complete 10A step-down switch-ing mode μModule® regulator in a tiny 4mm × 4mm × 1.43mm LGA package. The package includes the switching controller, power MOSFETs, inductor and all support components. Operating over an input voltage range of 2.25V to 5.5V, the LTM4659 supports an output voltage range of 0.5V to VINset by external resistors. Its high-efficiency design delivers 10A continuous output current. Only ceramic input and output capacitors are needed.The LTM4659 employs aSilent Switcher2 architecture with internal hot loop bypass capacitors to achieve both low EMI and high efficiency at high switching frequencies.The LTM4659 also supports frequency synchronization, multiphase operation, selectable pulse-skipping mode (PSM) operation, and output voltage tracking for supply rail sequencing. Its high switching frequency and a current mode architecture enables a very fast transient response to line and load changes without sacrificing stability.Fault protection features include overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection. The LTM4659 is lead(Pb)-Free and RoHS-compliant.
