Description

General part information

TLE5109 Series

TLE5109A16DE2210XUMA1 is a 5.0V, dual die, analog GMR angle sensor with TCO. This detects the orientation of a magnetic field by measuring sine and cosine angle components with Magneto Resistive (MR) elements. The sensor provides analog sine and cosine output voltages that describe the magnetic angle in a range of 0 to 360° (GMR sensor) respectively. It is a dual die combination with a Giant Magneto Resistance (GMR) sensor for a full 360° angle range. The differential MR bridge signals are independent of the magnetic field strength to maintain constant output voltage over a wide temperature and field range. The analog output is designed for differential or single-ended applications and an internal temperature compensation is applied for higher accuracy. Potential applications include BLDC motors, pedals and rotary switches, steering angle sensing, and valve or flap position sensing.
