Description
General part information
HMC156A Series
The HMC156A devices are miniature frequency doublers that are available in a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) die (HMC156A), and a nonhermetic, ceramic surface mount package (HMC156AC8). Suppression of undesired fundamental and higher order harmonics is 38 dB typical with respect to input signal levels. The doubler uses the same diode/balun technology used in Hittite MMIC mixers, features small size, and requires no dc bias.ApplicationsWireless local loopLocal multipoint distribution systems (LMDS)Very small aperture terminal (VSAT)Point-to-point radiosUnlicensed National Information Infrastructure (U-NII) and high performance radio LAN (HiperLAN)Test equipment
