General part information

TLE4959 Series

TLE4959CHAMA1 is a transmission speed sensor. It has two integrated capacitors on the lead frame (220nF/1.8nF). This capacitor increases the EMC robustness of the device. In 12V applications it is further recommended to use a serial resistor RSupply of 100 ohm (tbd) for protection on the supply line. A pull-up resistor RLoad is mandatory on the output pin and determines the maximum current flowing through the output transistor. Applications include integrated differential Hall speed sensor ideally suited for transmission applications. Its basic function is to provide information about rotational speed and direction of rotation to the transmission control unit. It includes a sophisticated algorithm which actively suppresses vibration while keeping excellent airgap performance.
