Description
General part information
AD7548 Series
AD7548 is a 12bit monolithic CMOS D/A converter for use with 8bit bus microprocessors. Data is loaded in two bytes to input holding registers. It can be configured to accept either left or right justified data, least significant byte or most significant byte first, using standard TTL compatible control inputs. A separate load DAC control allows the choice of updating analog output coincident with loading new data to the DAC input register or at any time after their loading event. It features multi DAC system where simultaneous update of all DAC's required. The new linear compatible CMOS (LC²MOS) process used in the manufacture of the device which allows precision thin film linear circuitry and high speed low power CMOS logic to be integrated on the same small chip. It is used in applications such as 8bit microprocessor based control systems, programmable amplifiers, function generation, servo control.
