Vishay Huntington Electric Inc. was founded in 1950 as a manufacturer of specialty resistor products. In September 2011, Vishay Intertechnology acquired the resistor business, and production was consolidated in Juarez, Mexico, where facilities have manufactured wirewound resistors since the early 1980s with all relevant quality certifications.
