STULPI01AHigh speed USB On-The-Go ULPI transceiver | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | Active | The STULPI01 is a high-speed USB 2.0 transceiver compliant with ULPI (UTMI+ low pin interface) and OTG (On-The-Go) specifications, providing a complete physical layer solution for any high-speed USB host, device or OTG dual-role core. It allows USB ASICs to interface with the physical layer of the USB through a 12-pin interface. It contains VBUS comparators, an ID line detector, USB differential drivers and receivers and a complete ULPI register map and interrupt generator. The STULPI01 transceiver is suitable for mobile applications and battery-powered devices because of its low-power consumption, Power-down operating mode and minimal die/package dimensions. |
| Interface | 1 | Active | The STUSB03E is a single chip transceiver that complies with the physical layer specifications of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) v2.0 standard. It has an integrated 5V to 3.3V regulator which allows direct powering from the VBUS. The transceiver has an integrated voltage detector to detect the presence of the VBUSvoltage and features an internal D+ pull-up resistor implemented in accordance with the 27% resistor ECN.
The STUSB03E also supports Sharing mode when VBUSis not present, which allows the D+/D– lines to be shared with other serial protocols.
It supports both full-speed (12Mbps) and lowspeed (1.5Mbps) operation. It is also designed to operate down to 1.6V so that it is compatible with lower system voltages of most portable systems, which include PDAs, MP3 Player and Cell phones. |

STUSB1702USB Type-C controller (with Tx/Rx line driver and BMC) | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | LTB | The STUSB1702 is a generic IC, in a 20 V technology it addresses a USB Type-C™ port management on the host side. It is designed for a broad range of applications and can handle the following USB Type-C functions: attach detection, plug orientation detection, host to device connection, VCONNsupport, and VBUSconfiguration.
It also provides a USB PD TX/RX line driver and BMC (bi-phase mark coding) transceiver which allow USB PD negotiation and an alternate mode through an external MCU. |
STUSB4500Standalone USB Type-C port controller for power sinking devices | Interface | 4 | Active | The STUSB4500L is a USB Type-C controller that addresses 5 V-only sink devices up to 3 A (15 W max.).
This device supports dead battery mode and is suited for sink devices powered from dead battery state. It is able to operate without any external software support for quick application power-on and immediate charging process start. At type-C connection, the STUSB4500L seeks CC pin for SOURCE termination and monitors VBUSvoltage in order to protect the application from an incorrect SOURCE operation. When VBUSis within the appropriate range, the STUSB4500L powers the application by closing the input switch. The available current advertised by the SOURCE is reported to the application in order to align the sinking current. Port status can be optionally monitored by the software through I²C interface.
Thanks to its 20 V technology, it implements high voltage features to protect the CC pins against short-circuits to VBUS. |

STUSB4700Stand-alone USB PD controller (with short-to-VBUS protection) | Power Management (PMIC) | 2 | LTB | The STUSB4700 is a new family of USB power delivery controllers communicating over Type-C™ configuration channel pin (CC) to negotiate a given amount of power to be sourced to an inquiring consumer device.
The STUSB4700 addresses provider/DFP devices such as notebooks, tablets and AC adapters. The device can handle any connections to a sink or DRP without any MCU control, from the device attachment to power negotiation, including VBUS discharge and protections. |
