STPIC6C595Power logic 8-bit shift register | Logic | 1 | Active | This STPIC6C595 is a monolithic, medium-voltage, low current power 8-bit shift register designed for use in systems that require relatively moderate load power such as LEDs. The device contains a built-in voltage clamp on the outputs for inductive transient protection. Power driver applications include relays, solenoids, and other low-current or medium-voltage loads.
The device contains an 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register that feeds an 8-bit D-type storage register. Data transfers through both the shift and storage register clock (SRCK) and the register clock (RCK), respectively. The device transfers data out the serial output (SER OUT) port on the rising edge of SRCK. The storage register transfers data to the output buffer when shift register clear (CLR) is high. WhenCLRis low, the input shift register is cleared. When output enable (G) is held high, all data in the output buffer is held low and all drain output are off. When G is held low, data from the storage register is transparent to the output buffer.
When data in the output buffers is low, the DMOS transistor outputs are off. When data is high, the DMOS transistor outputs have sink-current capability. The SER OUT allows for cascading of the data from the shift register to additional devices.
Output are low-side, open-drain DMOS transistors with output ratings of 33 V and 100 mA continuous sink-current capability. Each output provides a 250 mA maximum current limit at TC= 25°C. The current limit decreases as the junction temperature increases for additional device protection. The device also provides up to 1.5KV of ESD protection when tested using the human-body model and 150 V machine model.
The STPIC6C595 is characterized for operation over the operating case temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C. |

STPM066SPMIC for ADAS applications | PMIC | 1 | Active | STPM066S is a multiple voltage regulator composed by one battery compatible BUCK pre-regulator, one BOOST, one LDO and a precise voltage reference regulator. All the regulators have internal power switches.
OTP (One Time Programmable) cells are used for the main device parameters programming (output voltages and currents, switching frequencies) and to configure the power up sequence.
An SPI interface can be used to enable or disable the single voltage regulators, for diagnostic information and to program internal blocks parameters (monitor and Power Good thresholds, slew rate, etc.).
The device offers a set of features to support applications that need to fulfill functional safety requirements as defined by Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) A-B-C-D. |
STPM32ASSP for metering applications with up to four independent 24-bit 2nd order sigma-delta ADCs, 4 MHz OSF and 2 embedded PGLNA | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | Active | The STPM3x is an ASSP family designed for high accuracy measurement of power and energies in power line systems using the Rogowski coil, current transformer or shunt current sensors. The STPM3x provides instantaneous voltage and current waveforms and calculates RMS values of voltage and currents, active, reactive and apparent power and energies. The STPM3x is a mixed signal IC family consisting of an analog and a digital section. The analog section consists of up to two programmable gain low-noise low-offset amplifiers and up to four 2nd order 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs, two bandgap voltage references with independent temperature compensation, a low drop voltage regulator and DC buffers. The digital section consists of digital filtering stage, a hardwired DSP, DFE to the input and a serial communication interface (UART or SPI). The STPM3x is fully configurable and allows a fast digital system calibration in a single point over the entire current dynamic range. |
STPM801Hot Swap & Ideal Diode Controller for high redundancy power architectures | Integrated Circuits (ICs) | 1 | Active | STPM801 offers integrated hot swap, soft start and oring protections. It protects loads from high voltage transients, limiting and regulating the output during an overvoltage event, such as load dump, by controlling the voltage drop across an external N-channel MOSFET.
The STPM801 also monitors the input supply to protect in case of overvoltage (OV) and undervoltage (UV) conditions.
An integrated ideal diode controller drives a second MOSFET (the oring) to replace a Schottky diode for reverse input protection and output voltage holdup. The STPM801 controls the forward voltage drop across the MOSFET and minimizes reverse current transients in case of fault like power source failure, brownout or input short.
STPM801 offers a set of features to support applications that need to fulfill functional safety requirements as defined by automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) A-B-C-D depending on application TSR. |
STPMIC1Highly integrated power management IC for micro processor units | PMIC | 3 | Active | The STPMIC1 is a fully integrated power management IC designed for products based on high integrated application processor designs requiring low power and high efficiency.
The device integrates advanced low power features controlled by a host processor via I²C and IO interface.
The STPMIC1 regulators are designed to supply power to the application processor as well as to the external system peripherals such as: DDR, Flash memories and other system devices.
The boost converter can power up to 3 USB ports (two 500 mA host USB and one 100 mA USB OTG). Its advanced bypass architecture allows the smooth regulation of VBUS for USB ports from a battery as well as low-cost consumer 5 V AC-DC adapters.
4 buck SMPS are optimized to provide an excellent transient response and an output voltage precision for a wide range of operating conditions, high full range efficiency (η up to 90%) by implementing a low power mode with a smooth transition from PFM to PWM and also an advanced PWM synchronization technique with an integrated PLL for a better noise (EMI performance). |
STPMIC25Highly integrated power management IC for microprocessor units | PMIC | 1 | Active | The STPMIC25 is a fully integrated power management IC designed for the STM32MP2x MPU's family applications requiring low power and high efficiency.
The device integrates advanced low power features controlled by a host processor via I²C and IO interfaces.
The STPMIC25 regulators are designed to supply power to the application processor as well as to the external system peripherals such as: DDR, flash memories, and other system devices.
Seven buck SMPS are optimized to provide an excellent transient response and output voltage precision for a wide range of operating conditions. Very high efficiency in the full output load range is achieved due to low power mode (LPM) and high power mode (HPM) selection. All the buck converters are capable of a smooth transition from LPM to HPM. The converters use an advanced PWM phase shift synchronization technique with integrated PLL and a programmable spread spectrum frequency modulation to reduce EMI. |
