This IC allows easy production of small power supply by a wide range of external constants, and is equipped with an external coil/capacitor downsized by high frequency operation of 1.5 MHz, built-in synchronous rectification SW capable of withstanding 15 V, and flexible phase compensation system on board.

BD8372HFP-M, BD8372EFJ-M and BD8372UEFJ-M are LED source drivers capable of with standing high input voltage (50V MAX). The constant current output is set by either of two external resistors. By utilizing Rohm's patented PBUS function, it is possible to turn OFF all LEDs when a row of LEDs are short/open-circuited if multiple number of the ICs are used In case the LED connected to the output IOUT terminal has 2 LEDs in series, BD83732HFP-M has to be used, in case of 3 LEDs in series - BD83733HFP-M.

BD83740HFP-M is 50V-withstanding LED source drivers. Most suitably for Automotive LED driving, it can control light through PWM of constant current output. Having LED open detective function and overvoltage mute function integrated, it can deliver high reliability. Also by utilizing our patented PBUS function, it is possible to turn OFF all LEDs in case where a row of LEDs are opened if multiple rows of LEDs are driven through multiple number of the ICs.

BD8374HFP-M is a LED source driver with the capability of withstanding high input voltage (50V Max.). The fixed current output is possible by PWM brightness, and it is suitable for automotive LED drive. It is built into LED open/short protection and overheating protection at over voltage, and high reliability can be achieved. When driving two or more LED by using two or more LSI, it can be done to control LED all together turning off even if LED causes short/open in a certain row.

The BD8379EFV-M is a serial-in parallel-out controlled LED driver with 35V output voltage rating. With the input of 3-line serial data, it turns the 12ch open drain output on/off. Due to its compact size, it is optimal for small space.
